Wood racquets are so much heavier, though. A normal wood racquet would be like 17-18 oz, at least.

I own 2 of his previous rackets. Not the latest pain job thou. They are all the same. Played with it up until last year. Switched to Babolat Pure Storm GT.

His racket is heavy but very comfortable for me. The only reason I switched is because when I demoed the Pure Storm, I couldn't miss....it seemed everything I wanted to do I was able to do with ease. So I decided to buy a few.

Sorry for being OT, but I'm about to change to Babolat Pure Storm GT this week.
I'm just going to try it some more before I make up my mind. I'm also considering Aero Storm GT but haven't tried it yet.
I'm changing from a Prince Tour DB mp (newer version of Prince More Control) which is a great control racket but not very forgiving when I'm having a bad day.

Well that is what I noticed with his racket , whenever I hit the ball with good technique and right non the middle of the face of the racket the ball flies with power and accuracy , but any balls that you get to late ,over heads , miss hit serves , on rise balls ,etc.. are a pain , so far my prince exo3 graphite has been the best , I'm thinking about loading more lead tape on the head for more power but my tennis elbow doesn't like head heavy rackets

I used to use lead tape but honestly it's too much for me; I'm not as strong as an ATP pro, I guess. It's ok for messing around with, but when it comes down to actually playing an hour or so long match with a lead-taped racquet, it can get real tiring on your arm. Also it doesn't hurt that I'm really happy/comfortable with my racquet's stock weight and balance ( I use a Dunlop AG 200 that's around 13 oz and 6 pts head light fully strung and gripped).

Also, there's no racquet out there that's going to magically make mis-timed balls or mishit (off-center) balls into well-struck balls. Basically any player's racquet (actually any racquet, period) requires that you hit it somewhere pretty close to the sweet spot to have the best control and power. The difference in the size of the sweet spot between Roger's (90 sq inch) and the tour average (100 sq inch) racquet is really not that much different...miniscule, even.
