He's just not good enough, he doesn't add anything to the squad. He's far worse than Robben, Van der Vaart, Van Persie, and also Elia is better. He hasn't proven anything yet.

The Dutch team plays a 4-2-3-1 tactic. The main striker will be van Persie with behind him Robben (left), Sneijder(middle) and Kuyt(right). Elia and Babel are both gunning for the position as second left attacking midfielder(if Robben doesnt play there). If Elia is injury free he will be chosen above Babel. Our coach van Marwijk has always made this choice so i dont see why he wouldnt do this now.

And even if Elia isnt fit it still remains to be seen if Babel is selected. Van der Vaart can also fill the position if Robben cant play. Or van Persie (and Huntelaar as the striker), or Affelay (talent at PSV who is normally a 10 but has played all his caps at the left attacking midfielder position).

A team im going to watch is Uruguay. I think they will do great with players like Forlan, Luis Suarez and Cavani up front, Caceres (talent), Lugano (quality center back), Fernandez (top midfielder) and Lodeiro (big talent at the 10 position) are key players on the rest of the field. They wont win it of course but will be a fun team to watch for sure.

Cyssokho is behind Evra,Abidal and even Reveillere can play Left...He will have to wait! :)
About Frey : He played a match (versus Scotland if i'm right) and did bad,blaming...the spotlights! That didn't help him,and since Domenech hardly think and very hardly change his opinion...Frey is out! But i agree with you Petrelli that Frey is one of the best!I like him a lot too!
There are some names i don't know in the Squadra! Candreva,Cossu,Boccheti,Bonucci...And may i remind you that Pepe is Portuguese, not Italian! :P
Cannavaro?HAHA!

Pepe is italian..he is from rome and play in Udinese  u mistake him with someone else

Candreava is a 23year old midfielder who plays in juventus...he played very few & bad matches(i think & hope he will be cut off)
Cossu is a 30year old midfielder who plays in cagliari...he is a good player, talented but if a player plays his first good season when he is 30year old,i don't think he is si good :? he played the majority of his career in Serie B.
Bocchetti and Bonucci are 24 & 23 years old defenders who play in genoa and bari.they r good players with few experience.

Cannavaro is ridicoulus...after World Cup he is over...but he is Lippi's "son" :?

imo will be cut off:
Sirigu
Cassani
Candreva
Montolivo
Cossu
Borriello
Quagliarella

My "favorite" is England because of the strong midfielders... I like also Argentina but with Maradona i just want them to fail (sorry but i just hate him) Also dunga  wth with not wanting Ronaldinho.. his been playing really good in Milan (forza milan! )

As for Spain i agree with all.. they are really good but im going to the odds.. the country that goes as favorite never wins.. And South-Africa has a strong group (France-Uruguay-Mexico) but remember.. the host of every WC never losses in the groups.. (just saying  )

And finally Germany.. they always go till Qfinal.. Sfinal.. who knows :D

Apologies in advance if this is in poor taste, but the quality of our squad and our chance of progress in the WC, can be summed up by like this:

Lol
Sorry...I should have put them in the poll...You're right...
But i honestly fear that you'll be the 1st world cup host not to qualify for next round...Unless you score against 1 team and draw against others! And this is really possible! Victory VS Mexico,Draw VS Uruguay, and draw VS France...Possible my friend!veeery possible! ;)

@Goa : you're talking about those strange trumpets?...Zuzuvela or something like that
