Don't know what was up with Dementieva, she was just patting the balls.

I'm assuming Heinz is just intent on getting Ivanovic back to basics and give her a solid base to build on because she was brushing up the ball and giving it so much spin that her big weapon on the forehand had dissappeared.

Saying that 3 wins in a row is great for her confidence, and her serving was pretty solid.

She has been messing with the serve again aswell, I thought she was on the right track last year but she looks terribly stiff on it.

As you probably know Daniela Hantuchova is my favourite WTA player, now in their semi-final, Ana would constantly squeak her shoes on the ground right after Daniela threw her ball toss for the serve. Daniela repeatedly complained to the umpire but the umpire did not do a thing. Daniela lead 6-0 2-0 but than Ana held serve for the first time. After that Ana's squeaks got distinctively louder and Daniela began to lose concentration because the squeaking bugged her. She ended up losing the match 0-6 6-3 6-4. It was to the point that Sharapova in the final, began practising her serves for the final with her hitting partner squeaking his shoes on the floor.

The fist pumps are very annoying but she seems like a nice enough girl, and the WTA cannot be giving up on one of the few decent pieces of ass on their tour.

I hate the shoe squeeks too, but they are usualyl random(maybe they were random to start with )

I can't believe a bit of shoe squeeking was so distracting when the girls are used to playing with shreiks of 100+ decibels every match.
