Gulbis wins against Federer!

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Am I the only big Fed fan that really doesn't care?? I mean, Gulbis is a pretty good player, at least he didn't lose to somebody like Fillipo Volandri (um...again) or Potito Storace or some other nobody dirtballer.

Bear in mind that Federer has been around for a long time and , every number one has upsets, doesnt matter if they are Agassi ( who is my hero tennis wise) or Steffi Graf, it happens to the best , but i still say when it comes down to a 5 set match when it matters Federer will prevail over anyone if he wants ( Nadal is an exception on clay , but thats allowed ) lol

Don't worry, he is playing next after Chokeabitch, once he loses that one - the thread will die.

I just find it so much fun to pick on Fed fans  they are so defensive of their god, it makes them easy target. 8)

You speak very highly of this Gulbis fellow my son. Quite peculiar that you did not pick him to advance past the second round.

Volandri is serving a whooping 167 kph first serve average  That's some serious stuff.

His serve notion is a beauty to watch, so smooth, classic.

EDIT: 6-2 Gulbis takes first set.

Key stats:

Volandri - 1 winner
Gulbis - 18 winners

It's mainly because Gulbis is moving that well.

DJ - are you being serious or sarcastic about Volandri's serve motion? He looks like the elephant man when he serves. I'm just a hack club-player who probably doesn't know anything, but he serves like he has a spinal disease.

His one-hander, however, is beautiful. Love the way he just loads up and whips it.

And your boy is in serious need of a haircut too. Good grief.
