I saw it yesterday. Great movie. Don't go expecting more Bourne excellence though.... It's a lot different.
The unamerican complainers are butthurt that it paints the Bush administration as liars.

Hmm, that sounds more American than un-American.

Well yeah, I agree. But the same crowd tends to paint themselves as the most patriotic people ever. Because they liked the governing body at the time more than everybody else.

I think Mark Twain said it best: "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."

Great movie, not too many people I've ever talked to have seen it...I made a thread about it a long time ago and I remember it got 0 replies

Billy Mitchell is a throwback to a time when being a video game expert/god was not a cool thing...at all. The guy has a killer mullet and looks like he's been living off mayonaisse for the past 30 years.

This 2006 Oscar nominated documentary is especially disturbing (twas to me anyway) - so if you enjoy being disturbed, have a look.

Note: To Djarvik and the other Netflixers, you can watch this one instantly.

Okay, no more depressing documentaries (for now, anyways). This week's
"Monday Obscure Movie Recommendation"®©TM is a comedic gem - an Italian comedy starring the very, very funny Roberto Benigni.

Try it, you'll absolutely like it.

I have. Did you (anybody??) read the book first? There's a lot more going on in the book than the movie, but I felt it was well done regardless.

Side note- Dicaprio has become a legit actor. After his humiliating early success with Titanic and Romeo, he has steadily become a stud. His track record since 2002 is superb.

Both 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' and 'This Boy's Life', brilliant films really excellent performance from young Leonardo Di Caprio.

emate you must be thinking of him in The Departed, Body of Lies and Gangs of New York? What a stud! 8)
