there was 8 so we rented a house, just went out on the strip for the fireworks. hotels only let guests in after 12 as too many on the strip so we took some people back to the house and had a bit of a party cos we had a hot tub and stuff, good times.

Sweet, glad you enjoyed it, I go to Vegas pretty often and I love it, it's one of the craziest places on Earth. Good time to go, too. Summer is brutally hot and expensive.

We plan to go to see the Grand Canyon. With your feedback, our family will put it on the top of the list! How much did it run you (minus the gambling)?

The Grand Canyon is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It's really worthless even trying to describe it. It is something that, if you live in the US, you HAVE TO see. The best time to go is at sunrise. It was a quasi-religious experience for me.

I dunno, I did it 5 years ago with an ex-girlfriend who had a very rich father. The only real cost incurred was our stay at a Grand Canyon city Best Western hotel. Other than that, there's no real cost aside from gas money and the entrance to Grand Canyon National Park.

I went on a trip to the grand canyon as well.

There was an option to take an old fashion train ride to the grand canyon whcih was great. On the way they put on a show like your train is getting robbed like in the wild west.

they didnt tell us they were doing this and i was sitting next to an off duty cop, so when a guy wearing a mask and holding a fake gun comes in, the cop gets up punches him in the nose and pops his arm out of socket. :c :c :c

definitely made the trip even better

Well we got picked up from excalibur's hotel on the strip in a luxury coach and travelled to i think Boulder city? by the nevada/arizona border to a private airport, got the chopper, was about a 30 min chopper ride to the canyon and we spent 30 mins there and had a picnic with champagne, then the chopper ride and coach back. they point out all the attractions on the way too like lake mead and the hoover dam, which apparently has so much concrete it hasn't set yet lol. we got the coach back to excalibur and all that was for $300 per person, it was with a company called papillion.
