They say that the way you meet New Year is how you will spend your entire year, so make sure you happy, healthy and intoxicated!

I just had the most demoralising conversation ever with my mum :(

I asked " Do we have anything to drink for NEw Years, like champagne?"
She said "Yeah, Allan(my step-dad) has got some whisky........well he did have" :x

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Thankfully this isn't entirely true...otherwise, for me, 2009 would have largely consisted of me vomiting into my own hat.

Happy New Year everybody.

Happy new year to everyone! I hope that the upcoming year will be a better one for me, as the last was the hardest in my life so far - my mum died on Dec the 15th on cancer - at the age of 50...

At this point I want to thank the ITST-community. I had to leave nearly every hobby behind during the last year, as I tried to spend as much time with my mum as possible - I also thought about retiring from TS, but TS (or better ITST) often helped me to forget about the real-life cruelness - at least for some minutes or hours... After being member for so many years now, ITST has become something like my "virtuell home"!

Happy new year all! A new and hopefully fun tennis season is here. :)

So, how do you guys feel today? I'm starting to feel ok now after my pizza breakfast. Best cure for the hangover blues.
