It's catch 22 though as I hate to make sloppy errors so if I did that on the break points I'd probably be complaining I'm to wasteful on my chances and dont force my opponent to save the bp.

Yes this pretty sums up me and how I approach break points. As a result, I tend to end up playing "nothing" returns, you know those types of returns that are half risk but more a floaty nothing that lands short and begs to be put away for a winner.

More than this though, I think my main problem is just that I have a very negative mental attitude when it comes to playing my matches - I call it Mental Midget Mack :P If I get broken early in a match, I tend to go into a sulk and tank for a while. If I make a silly error or don't take advantage of a point, I swear quite a bit but I do stop short of throwing the controller around or hitting myself though I am tempted to smash the tv in sometimes  So yeah I just think I need to be more relaxed playing itst matches.

Tie break play definetely
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

When I get broken, i try to put more pressure on my opponents serve to find a way to break him back...because of that I make sloppy errors, or just plain stupid risk errors...and never break back:(

I wish I could be cool during the matches, but I'm a nervous wreck. I wonder if alcohol will do the trick... :wee

Well after losing my final with Xhorum, i am changing it to converting on break points. I had 4 break points in the 3rd set, at 5-5. I knew where each one was going, but i somehow missed them all, and i didnt know what happened. I felt the sameway in the 2 tiebreaks i lost, i got the serves i was looking for and missed, unusual, but i guess it wasnt my day

i always try and hit a risk return on BP's which 75% of the time results in me shanking the ball and me going mental saying 'its BP make him play the ball dumbass' lol

same, i either do what you said and get angry with myself for not making them play the point or i make him play and get angry at myself for not taking a chance by risking the return....

I definately need to cool my self down when i miss an opportunity. The other day, i was leading one set, one break. I had a break ball for double breack in the 2nd and i didn't convert it.
I was so pissed, from that moment i started to change all the aspect of my game and i lost that match....too bad it was a final

This make me think of Tsonga interview after a match against roger. He said the key was in the coolness you have when you miss a shot. "Look Federer, he says, he never gets frustrated when he misses, that's what i have to aim to". I shall take this to myself also. : i guess we all should

Cheers
