I tried and got a no run and error for the beta version. Yet, the demo works fine.

Go figure?! :D

You're the only one who complained about such a problem yet, and I'm sad that you didn't do what I asked you to provide information that would help figure it out.

The fact that the beta doesn't work on your computer is a puzzle, especially if the demo did. Now, you have only two choices :

_ You want the game to work on your computer, then you help me figure out what is wrong, which means spending some time providing me information about your computer state and what exactly happens / doesn't happen.
_ You decide you don't care about helping fixing the game, and you just want to wait until it is fixed, or even forget about it. Then there's no need to come here just to tell the beta doesn't work on your computer when I'm trying to get other people to try it.

Thank you

First of all, I think you need to calm down a bit, because I was not looking to attack you. I am very well aware about what I can do. I am not a pre-school kid. LOL. :D

Now, you failed to instruct all that there is a reason why I did not want to provide you with ALL the information, AS I DID GIVE YOU SOME OF IT. Like always, I am not surprised that that is left out to make me look as if I am the bad guy.

Lastly, if you want to go about this the right way, I am sure we can handle this professionally and within a decent arrangement.

I am not mad at you, and I hope that you are the same.

By the way, are you any closer to solving my problem (that is with the information I provided to you)?

Well the game was designed to work on fairly old computers, you could have a try. Although it would be best to have a joypad, even if keyboard can be used. In this regard, you can get a driver for using Xbox 360 pads on a PC, works great with Full Ace  .

Yea Goa. This game is not a technical as DMT. You will do better with this one. It reminds me of Top Spin I or Top Spin II a bit. You just have to lock yourself on court for placement (left or right trigger) and fire away. :)

I'm sorry, it was shocking to see you answer so quickly to my message, to say what you said, especially with what I will tell below. And even if it's not your intent, you should be aware that what you answered to my post is pretty harming to what people may think of the game, even before trying it.

Q. Reese wrote:Now, you failed to instruct all that there is a reason why I did not want to provide you with ALL the information, AS I DID GIVE YOU SOME OF IT. Like always, I am not surprised that that is left out to make me look as if I am the bad guy.

I'm sorry I didn't point out that you actually gave some information, my bad.
You did give a reason for not wanting to do the last part, but last news I had from you (10 days ago) were : "I will use the OpenGL viewer at another time." With this, I thought you were busy with something else, and that you would get back to me with this when you could. That's why seeing your answer to my post so quickly was such a shock. Downloading GLview, running it, saving an XML file with your graphics hardware specs and e-mailing it to me should take 10 minutes top. The sooner you do it, the more time I get to have a look at it and see if I find something interesting.

I am not mad at you either, just shocked at your answer as I said, and definitely disappointed at the fact you didn't get to play the game for good.
I am not any closer to solving your problem, because I have yet to find a logic beneath it (and the last fact that the demo does work clearly doesn't help in that regard).
About bug report, there is one thing you have to understand. I need all the facts to work on a bug. You should not assume that providing the bit of information that is directly available to you will explain everything by itself, because... well... it usually don't. I'm saying that because each time I asked you for two different informations, you only gave one in return and I had to ask the other one again.

Bug fixing is quite a difficult task, even more when hardware and drivers are involved, and especially when you can't get your hands directly on the problem. I am of course sorry when users/customers have to deal with that process, because ultimately they shouldn't have to. Unfortunately, we are a small team with small means, and that means that even if we test the game on as many computers as possible, we can't make it as thorough as big companies. However, you're the only one yet that got back with such a problem, and while I realize it's pretty unfortunate from your point of view, it's a rather good outcome for us as a team.

Kschoice. No problem mate, and I have forgiven you as I was typing my reply to your first message.

I did had to clean my gamer's tag a little when you launch a few missiles at it (LOL, and joking). :P

No worries. Hey, because I like your apologetic attitude, I will even work harder to be your best beta-tester ever, as I was going to do it anyway (bad attitude or not).

Please send the exact information that you want me to send (because I was not 100% clear about that). So, just send me a list of things you need me to do, that is with the big fat PLEASE on the top, and I will get to work sir! 8)

My message was not to mess with your long-term investment mate. So, I do apologize for you interpreting it as such. No worries mate . . . . no worries. :D

Q you were wrong and kschoice was right. So please dont act like you are the one that is the better man and forgive him. When you were clearly mistaken.

Exactly.
From what I've read, the apology should be the other way around.

Q didn't do anything wrong. He simply said that the beta version was not working for him. He said, "go figure" which I think kschoice took the wrong way. You can see it as, "go figure, the demo is good but the beta is junk" or, "go figure, that's just my luck". I think Q meant the latter.

Q could have been clearer, kschoice jumped to conclusions - it takes two to have a misunderstanding.

@ kschoice: You're getting a lot of free advertising for your game here, on a forum where everyone who sees it is a potential customer. I think I can speak for everyone who runs the ITST when I say I have no problem with that - but I think you have to accept that there will be some bad with the good. Even when someone says they are having problems there is opportunity in that - opportunity for you to show that you are willing to work with the customer to help resolve the problem.
