I know it's no consolation but what a fight by Andy. 18-2 in head to heads and he keeps coming back, putting himself on the line and trying new things to become a better player.

12 months ago I would have said he had no chance to win another slam, I hope he can carry this forward now and compete with the big boys.

I'm so pissed, I wanted Roddick to win. I don't care about records or any of that crap, imo, I just wanted the guy who hadn't won 14 other slam titles to win. Fed is trying to win slams just to chase history, I don't care for any of that stuff as it is useless to me.
I like Nadal, but if he catches up to/passes feds record, then I will always want the other guy to win. I like supporting the underdog as I know how it feels to underdog.

Well, not the first part but that's exactly what he was thinking... The look on Andy's face and the way he subtly shook his head said a lot more than "YOU HAD 5 ALREADY", which was audible.

Who is Roddick's coach? This man should receive some kind of award. Roddick was a one-dimensional player with a lot of weaknesses. He changed a lot if youve seen him play today.

I can understand Roddick would be pissed off when Federer said that but he should have known most of the stuff players say then is bull anyway and not care about it...
