First impression is that the game slows down dramatically, you can really feel the surface play a role now.....I played on hard court right after with Pro player and it felt twice as fast. I think there is actually a big difference in surfaces, but with stacked players you just don't feel it.....you do with pros.
To be honest, Roland Garros surface is veeerryy slow, almost painfully slow....but then I tried Barcelona and was definitely faster.
Anyway, both Chederer and Coolhand send me a similar comment "...that was different..."
Need some more testing, but looks like the verdict is that games slows down noticeably....which is a good thing and a bad thing. Good - because there is more time to think, pre-pressing (selecting a shot before you see whats coming) becomes a major disadvantage, I consider this good, because that is just the right way, you really should be selecting your shot when you see whats coming.....the days of holding RB and shot buttons will be over.... Bad - some of the pros have weak serves, placement will absolutely crucial to stay in the game, most pros have decent return stats, that combined with risking will present a problem for any weak server.
There are also a nice number of players that are fictional. Some of them are very useful! I was able to hand with Coolhand's Fed with a guy that had white strokes, one being 59.....he did have 91 serve and 90 power. Very interesting setup as he also had 73 return. Perfect for someone who lines to risk a lot and keep the points short, GOA MASTER MDMA (COD 44) - you will love this guy!
