Rafa would win that one mate.

I think this post is not way off topic; it is way way way way way way wayyyy off topic. I think there have been a lot of way off topic posts but Chris just raised it a bar.

Maybe we should have a poll on who is the littlest pip squeak on the tour; L Hewitt 7 ITST vs Tidus?

ha I'm liking the Hewitt videos. The dropshot is nice, I wish stuff like that happened in tennis more often.

I wasn't even going to dignify this post with a comment, but I've changed my mind.

This is just stupid.

Hey chris...is it just me, or his Hewitt breaking a rule in that 2nd GIF of yours? Isn't it illegal to put your racquet past the net like that? Brilliant shot but I'm not sure if that was legal after one of my group lessons the other day...a friend of mine in the class was sprinting to the net and hit a really good volley, but he was running so fast that his racquet went over the net (but didn't touch it). The instructor said he "broke the imaginary plane" or something, and that he would have lost the point had it been a real match.

Your racquet can't break the plane of the net until after you hit the ball, so if it crosses on the follow through it's O.K.

In the case of the Hewitt shot, the ball bounced on his side and the backspin pulled it back to Federer's side. That's the only time you can reach over and hit the ball on your opponent's side of the nest.
