Anyone buy, or plan to buy, either Black Ops 2 or Halo 4? Both games have received mostly positive reviews. If you already have the game(s), what do you think? Worth a purchase?

I am probably going to buy Black Ops 2. Although after Battlefield, COD games just seem soooo weak. Shooting with bazooka through the wall and not getting a hole just seems weird now. No bullet drop etc...

But the fast pace action has its appeal.

Halo 4, hmmmm not really sure. Maybe a bit too much "out there" for me :D

I don't see the point in buying Black Ops 2. Why not just play CoD 4, or any prior CoD between then and now that you happen to possibly own? They are all the goddamn same. :?

Halo has been going mainly downhill since CE. Combat Evolved had the best campaign, though 3 had the best multiplayer.

Last shooter i bought was Halo Reach. Very short single player campaign and too many cheesers online, so i sold it after a month. Not much of a shooter fan, but last year i got a really old game from a cousin of mine C&C:Renegade and i really enjoyed that.
But i played CoD on my pc 3 years ago and i really liked the single player, but when i saw it's successors i couldn't help but thinking that they we're trying to make me pay for the same damn game twice, with paid DLC released like every 24h.

After 2 months i got bored with it and stopped playing. Halo 4 will probably not be released on the PC so i won't buy that either.

My favorite genres are sports games (tennis games mostly) and action adventures (Uncharted, God of War, Tomb Raider etc....)
Atm i'm really looking forward to Arkham City:Armored edition.

1 hour crossing the **** map

I played both, and i prefer HALO 4 over Black Ops 2. Im feeling im playing the same but with zombies in BO2. But i must admit im not a big fan of all that zombie thing. If u didn't play any COD lately, it's tough to decide which one. But if u played any COD on the last 2 years and ure not a big fan of zombies, HALO 4 is your option.
Not everyone can choose between this two
