How to record videos of games and add commentary?

Postby Samael » Wed, 25 Jul 2012 08:47

I ve been looking on the net for some info, but i couldnt find much. Is there any program that allows you to do both at same time or after you record the stuff you have to add the commentary using other program? I d appreciate some help.

For free i imagine? Cause i know of an application called ActivInspire that lets you record your dashboard and add comentary but its not free. Im actually not sure what it costs. Ive seen my father use it to prep lessons for his class.

I imagine you could use frap to record and import it in an application like windows movie maker. There you can add sound seperatly. It will just be tough to line them up.

Sorry, i cant be of better help. Maybe someone else can.

I was going to suggest Fraps. It is one of the better ones out there, I think.
