Political correctness

So what do we think about political correctness is it good or bad?


I'm really not sure about this. I'm also not sure how this is outside of the UK.

In the UK it has certainly stopped free speech from being what it used be. I strongly believe that no matter what colour, religion, culture or ethnic background you are, We as human beings should be treated as equals.
On Paper this is a good thing but political correctness has made it near impossible to discuss 2 or 3 very different cultures living under 1 cultures laws without your own opinions coming across as Rascist or ignorant.
In The UK very Recently A group of Asian men got caught being Peadophiles. It has started a race war.
2 me I see it just as a group of men. Not Asian men but certain people are afraid 2 say say its a cultural thing because the age of consent is lower in their home country.
I hope you all understand my point and don't think I'm a fascist or a rascist.
I would like 2 know if being over PC is a problem for any 1 else.
