Simoncelli dies from injuries suffered in Malaysian GP crash at the age of 24.

During the 2nd lap he lost the control of his bike, slid across the circuit, Colin Edwards couldn't do anything to avoid the collision and hit him with his motorbike, the impact was brutal and even his helmet come off.

My deepest condolences to his family.

I've seen the video of this and it honestly looks like he was already passed out/dead before he crashed :shock:
