This shouldn't have even gotten off the ground.

Of course it got to be Even numbers. They are groovy, balanced and ensure no one or thing is left alone - you'll always get at least a pair.

Odd numbers are by their own name, 'odd'. In other words, they are weird, strange, bizarre, freaky, and probably borderline psychotic. In my world, they would be regarded as dangerous.
