Formatting an External Hard Drive to FAT32

Thought i'd chance my luck lol... ☻

Looked on the net for Software, but after reading reviews and users experiences couldn't find a program that works.
Is there any Software that works for this.?
Main use is to reformat a NTSC Hard Drive to FAT32 so that it will work (for movies) on both my PS3 and New TV.
My other TV (now in bedroom) has no problems picking up the NTSC format through the USB? but mainly want it for PS3 anyway.

Windows 7 will only let me format it in exFAT as it is over 32GB

Tried using the CMD > format /FS:FAT32 X: (X is the Drive),
After an hour, got the message " The volume is too big for FAT32 "

You know FAT32 only supports little files. So you won't be able to put a file bigger than about a Gb on it.

thanks guys for reply, but in the end it was my fault it wasnt working on my new TV, i still had the Hard Drive converted to exFAT from the last time, thats why it wasnt working in the TV - DOH...!

i think the best and safest option is to maybe make a partition of FAT32, as Rich Lewis said about it not going properly with the FAT32 format with the size of files. but hopefully dont think i will need to anymore, lordy.

my USB sticks are only 4gb but most HD's are much more than that now anyway.

*also meant NTFS instead of NTSC... spent too long on that yesterday lol... Thanks again..!

I'm ok with this now, but just incase anyone else comes along this problem i got a pretty solid response on another site.

their is proggys for it, but a simple, quick way is ( if you have an xp installation disc handy, boot up pc from disc>>when you get to options / instal screen ( the one that shows drives>>delete the partition on it as if u were setting xp up on it>>>then select 'quick format / fat32.
once its done and it starts loading windows files, just reboot computer to cancel operation, drive will now be fat32.
takes about 3-4 mins .
make sure you select the correct drive and not the one your currently using for your windows now.

also if you plug the drive into ur PS3, will it not format it to fat 32 anyway, i know the xboxs do, not sure bout ps 3 though

This is a random slightly off topic question, but does anyone know if I could perhaps create several partitions on my USB drive and then have TS4 see them each as being able to hold four new players?

There is a free tool that can create multiple partitions, although not sure about being able to use multiple saves? but let us know if you try
