i have started playing this game again after being frustrated with top spin . I have played Jaylove on a few occasions , and epox fr . But since there arent many players left playing ranked matches . i was wondering if anyone would be interested in playing ?

Rockstar Table Tennis Rulz!

Pretty sad that Rockstar can take one single stab at a sports video game and trump every sports video game in existence. :(

What do you think Grandma?

I own it, but have spent less than an hour learning how to win points. I wouldn't be much of an opponent at this point in time. Personally, I prefer the golf and snooker that Rockstar put in GTA IV!

Yeah it would be nice if we could get some other people to play...the only people I can find to play with are you (puttu puttu), and this guy (girl, maybe?) from Japan that's on all the time named 'rurihachan', he's pretty good and we actually have relatively little lag...I"ve run into that 'tabletennisking' (I think that's his name?) guy a few times but I don't play him anymore cuz he's a sore loser and sends ragemail

I love playing that game. I think I haven't paid my Xbox Live account for a while though so I'd have to have a good reason to reactivate it...

I use to have this game and loved it big time. I was thinking about getting it again if i could find people to play online. gamestop has it for like 4.99$.

We should start a tour on here for it, get some interest going for it lol

yeah getting as many players back into the game would be great > To be fair it is a fantastic alternative to Top spin > the controls are simple and intuitive . it really feels like you have control over the ball . Defending smash points is so fun !!!

So yeah if you want to get back and playing

Add me on x box live i will gladly play you !!!

PS : as noted above this game is dirt cheap !

you can get it for 2 or 3 pounds in the uk . that's roughly about 5 dollars or euros

The gameplay is perfect. The one flaw I saw with the game was that there is no create a character and it also seemed to me that some of the players were noticeably stronger than others.

Really?? I think the characters are all pretty well-balanced...I have my favorites (Mark, Juergen, and Jung Soo), but I've played good players of pretty much every character.

Maybe you're thinking of Jesper?? At first he seems like an awesome character, but it can be really difficult to keep the ball on the table or out of the net, with him. He's such a noob character that he's actually come full circle to 'advanced player's character'.

I could be wrong , it did seem like Jesper could blow the other players off the court. Its been a while so maybe im wrong in thinking that though.

Nah, he was powerful but had clear weaknesses, his backhand for instance. I find that the balance between the players in this game is great.

Yeah, trust me he's not that great. There's a reason you see very, very few advanced players use Jesper. I've had Rockstar Table Tennis for a long time and I can count the number of good Jesper's I've faced on one hand. If you go by that, he's actually the weakest character of the entire bunch. I'm not bad with him but he's still nowhere near my favorite character
