but this was the fifth big big mistake from referee.
it was clearly offside from VILLA !!
to 100%offside.

Too many crucial mistakes from referees in this World Cup... It was a tough one though, as he was not that far offside.

yep .it was offside .
one step in offside. difficult to see ,but clearly offside

i saw today a interview with BLATTERin german TV .
he sayed : "that after the WEMBLEY GOAL 2 (in germany-england match),the FIFA will rethink to use goalcameras .

but what is next ?
using camera for offside ,for a foul ? for every wrong decision ??
than we have stopp and go sport ala USA (NBA NHL NFL)
this is worst and this we never will see in football !!

i´m for 4 referee where is watching a goalcamera and for offsidegoals and maybe for wrong penalty decisions ,
and when the 4 referee notice a wrong decision- he just send this via headset to the referee!!
so he can act in 5 seconds to decide correctly
this missing wrong referee decisions are so stressy and painfull

hope we see this goalcamera soon in europe!!

i also saw the PARGUAY -JAPAN match too.
paraguay is not that good
SPAIN will beat PARAGUA easily -maybe not easily ,but in a comfortable way

BTW: indeed nice supporters .
i support the ""SUPORTERS "from this fangirl

I'm not a huge basketball or hockey fan, but instant replay isn't even used in those games? NFL I can kind of see your point, but it really isn't that noticeable in a sport where 80% of the game you watch guys standing around and scratching their ass...

And besides, people had the same complaints about using instant replay in tennis - "It will ruin the flow of the match, will take way too long, will ruin the sport because people will challenge to stall a match, etc..."
I think we can all agree it has been good for the sport and none of those complaints were valid in hindsight. It's way past time FIFA (and MLB for that matter) got their shit together and joined the 20th, let alone the 21st century. Waay too many gamebreaking mistakes in this WK to not do start using instant replay.

In the last Europe League (the old UEFA Cup) there were 5 referees at every game, don't know if FIFA were happy or not with the experiment, 2 of them were in the penalty box

Yet how much more definitive will two more pair of eyes be, even from their vantage position, patrolling the goalline from the opposite side to the current assistant referees? "Some people have said we should simply introduce goalline technology, like they have in tennis," says Dallas, who helped organise the first trials for Uefa in Under-19 European Championship qualifying ties. "However, while that works perfectly well for that sport, it wouldn't be as useful for football because the ball is in the air as often as it is on the ground when contentious issues arise.

"The referees behind the goal aren't there as a replacement for goalline technology: rather, they'll operate as a human camera. During a normal match, when a forward and a defender run into the 18-yard box together the referee will be behind them. Now he will have a colleague who can view any resulting challenge head-on. From the initial trials the presence of the extra officials also acts as a deterrent to pushing and shoving at corners and free-kicks."
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

As i said to Goa in a pm,
Vuvuzelas, referee's mistakes, the way France played and acted simply ruined my WC :(
And i found that the only "stars" that played at a high level are Villa,Messi and Mueller! (i could add Ozil but i like Mueller more : He reminds me a bit of Platini)
Now i hope for an Argentina/Nederlands (or Germany) Final.....without vuvuzelas! :) Those are the teams wich played better football to me
But i'm secretly hoping for Ghana to win!!!Sshhh....
Brasil is playing a boring non-brasilian football (thx Dunga),Spain is not that impressive and without Villa who knows where they would be today (this is an opinion, not a fact) they will have to be a lot better to win versus teams like Argentina,Nederlands,or Germany...

I say sorry for what Domenech did (not shaking Parreira's hand, the coach of the hosting team of this WC!....) and i hope everybody can understand that this was involving him and only him and that all this is not representative of what French people truly are!

GO GHANA!!! :)
