Blah...UFC 105 was boring!!

Mike Swick/Dan Hardy was semi-interesting but ultimately unsatisfying.

Bisping/Kang was blah, whatever, I hate Bisping, he's a d-bag...

Tito Ortiz actually made me laugh in his interview with Joe Rogan, that guy actually seemed kinda funny :? I thought I hated him but I don't know now

Couture/Vera was a snoozefest to be quite honest....I really like both fighters, but it seems like they don't match up well, as far as an 'entertaining' fight is concerned

Mode off topic [on] - off

You like boxing guys?...Yesterday Manny "Pacman" Paquiao won his 7th belt (middle weight,if i remember well) in a 7th different class-weight!!!History!!!
And it was a really great fight stopped by the referee 55 sec before the very last end...
Paquiao is very entertainig to watch!Very intense, quick and precise! He's the best boxer (all categories) nowadays...
I can't wait for this Paquiao/Mayweather fight!!! :P

yes you true . i like this kind of sport .
in past i was a boxfan ( i had boxed myself ) but since some years i prefer more UFC-PRIDE- K1 :
thats much better . more natural more power !
BOXEN is more tactic - MIXED MATERIAL ARTS is more true fighting

you know jerome le banner (FRANCE) ? hes a K1 veteran from K1 ! a awesome france K1fighter

i didn´t see the fight yesterday . to got 7 titels in different classes is awesome .
at all i didn´t know paquiao very good.so i cannot say much .
i will watch the fight on youtube later.
((thanks for the info about that fight ))
mayweather i know much better. i saw a few fights from him !

UFC 106 in two days!!!

TITO ORTIZ vs. FORREST GRIFFIN, PART 2

Honestly I think it's gonna be a war!!

Both Griffin and Ortiz have so much on the line with this fight....Ortiz is trying to prove himself after a long absence from the UFC, and Forrest is trying to avoid a potentially crippling 3 LOSSES IN A ROW. These two guys are going to be fighting for their lives

i´m not so a griffin fan -but i think he can beat ortiz in that fight.
griffin cant lost again or he loose contract.
and that makes him dangerous (remember the ultimate fighter 1)
sadly brock can´t fight. you hear some about when he fight?
have he forward the swineflue ?

Yeah, I'm almost 100% sure I'm going to buy it on Pay-per-view. Ortiz vs. Griffin pt. 1 was a bloodbath.

As for Brock...it actually never was swine flu, he has mononucleosis...on top of that, he has a relatively serious intestinal disease called 'Diverticulitus' that will require surgery.

I actually feel bad for him because his career could be over.

i agree with your bad opinion from UFC 105
i watched UFC 105 .and i´m also little dissapointed from the event.
the fights was mostly bad .

it start relativ good wit the ross pearson - aron riley fight.
a good stand up fight from both in mui thai style with big right hands and great knees on both sides .

i saw only 2 more good fights delgado vs winner .an absolutly awesome right hand ko . t
and the gustavson -hamman fight with a granade to the chin ko from gustavson
the biggest dissapointing fight was couture - vera -
that was ridicolous -send the old man home .
couture only press vera to the fence and hold him there till the refere breaks coz nothing happens .!!
he do that the whole 3 rounds -come on that was a ridicolous fight. #
sadly couture win ,with this f...     tactic !!.
okay vera is a top striker per excellance - dangerous for couture so he hold him nearly the body that vera can´t strike!!
this style is not fighting .only to press to hold your opponent at the fence till refere break
i never saw so a bad fight in last time

also the hardy-swick fight was dissapointing.
that was a really bad fight too.
now hardy can fight for the championship about GSP :
when hardy fight so slow with so bad timing in his shots , he have zero chances about GSP in the championship fight !!
PSG will kill him on the ground !

i saw the bisping -kang fight .it was not so a bad fight from bisping .
in 1 round he have really luck to survive the round . kang was nearly to beat him
but in second round bisping fights awesome.

i hope for a better ufc 106 .
wish you alot of fun by watching the event live .
i cant watch it live -i will not pay money

please post the fights from UFC 106
the griffin-ortiz 2 fight is very interresting - i will see with which tactic ortiz use by his come back to the ocatagon .
i vote for griffin - he TKO ortiz

UFC 106 was a thoroughly exciting night of fighting from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Amir Sadollah vs. Phil 'The New York Badass' Baroni (first UFC fight in almost 5 years) was a great fight...Baroni came out GUNS BLAZING in the first round, catching Sadollah with some vicious combos- I really thought it was going to be a very short fight, but Baroni gassed near the end of the 1st round. 2nd round was much closer, with Sadollah edging Baroni in points. 3rd round saw Baroni almost completely out of gas and taking a lot of punishment, but staying on his feet for 5 minutes. Sadollah won, having narrowly won the 2nd round and completely dominating the 3rd. Both fighters sustained significant cuts to the face.

Cane vs. Antonio Rogerio Noguiera (Minotauro's brother) was a quick fight, ending with a 1st round KO by Noguiera in an impressive UFC debut.

Paulo Thiago vs. Jacob Volkmann was a rather boring fight IMO. Not much to say about this one. Thiago won by decision.

Koscheck vs. Anthony Johnson was a great fight, very evenly matched...both fighters got poked in the eye once, resulting in 2 stoppages. Koscheck sustained very little damage while Johnson was pretty badly cut. Koscheck finished via rear naked choke at 4:47 of round 2.

TITO ORTIZ VS. FORREST GRIFFIN PART 2: EPIC

Primarily a stand-up battle, this was an extremely entertaining fight which saw a 1st round similar to the 1st round of Tito vs. Forrest part 1, with Tito mainly controlling Forrest and winning the round narrowly. Round 2 saw Griffin take a brutal elbow from inside his guard, that opened up a gigantic cut above Griffin's right eye. He was absolutely POURING blood all over, it was actually uncomfortable to watch  I thought at this point that the cut simply might be too bad- that the fight was about to be stopped- but Griffin had a resurgence near the end of the 2nd round, where he defended 1 or 2 strong takedown attempts from Ortiz and landed some solid strikes to Tito's head. This is where the momentum of the fight started to go decisively towards Griffin. From the beginning of the 3rd round, Tito seeming almost frozen out there, shocked that Forrest was able to survive the bleeding in round 2. Tito didn't try to do anything in round 3 and was being stalked by Griffin the entire time. Forrest absolutely dominated the 3rd round, landing stand-up flurries of punches and kicks that Tito had no answers for...by the time there was 2 minutes left in the 3rd round, I knew that Forrest was going to win unless Tito knocked him out.

Griffin wins by split decision to improve to 17-6. :D

Rampage Jackson recently retired from MMA to pursue an acting career  I never liked him because of how arrogant he acts sometimes, but he was a great fighter. His slam against Ricardo Arona in Pride is one of the craziest things I've ever seen and will live on in history...

Yeah...it costs a lot to watch UFC here, and yes for the most it's only on pay-per-view. Every now and then- like UFC 105- they'll broadcast it FREE on 'Spike Tv' (an American TV channel designed for men, I don't know if you have Spike). And it's not 40 dollars, it's actually 50 dollars  Thankfully it is actually not much more expensive to see UFC LIVE and in person if you're not sitting in the front row...I think UFC tickets are mainly in the 40-100 dollar price range. My dad and I are planning on going to see an upcoming UFC event in Las Vegas :D

I would watch it on the internet, but I think it's better on my big screen HDTV- my monitor's not very big. How is the quality of the video on the internet?/

yeah i can watch spike TV im internet. till now i never watched it .
to watch something from internet on my big TV i have 2 cables(sound+picture )adaptor from PC tro TV .
at all i prefer the other way to watch the ufc . (read my PM)
that is much better as to watch stream coz when to much people watch the stream ,or when internetspeed is to low, than the picture is not flowing perfectly, it breaks and stopps from time to time for a moment .and that nerves . so i stopped watching in that way and changed before a few weeks to the other way to see UFC in HDTV

BTW: i remember that crazy move from RAMPAGE it was by PRIDE 2003 TOTAL ELIMINATION .(i think)
RAMPAGE is powerfull guy . good decision to stopp fighting !!
2-3 more heavy TKO´s and he is completly dumb.
i saw him by ultimate fighter talking - he looks like a man who got a few too much punches in their face
