I forgot about the Tibua/Neer fight, that was crazy!! I've never seen somebody take another guy down that many times. The very 1st slam he did at the beginning of the fight was one of the hardest slams I've seen I think...

It looked like Machida himself was even surprised that he won, but I think we both agree that Rua didn't 'clearly beat' him.

It's actually nobody specific knocking Brock out...I never see the other guy's face....I just see Brock taking a titanic uppercut to the jaw and going down. As for who I think could ACTUALLY do that to Lesnar??? I'm not so sure...I believe Cain Velasquez has a shot, that guy is super-strong, pretty much the exact same style fighter as Brock, just maybe a little smarter and a little smaller. He is impressive. Shane Carwin has a shot as well, but honestly I don't think there's anybody out there who would almost definitely beat Lesnar. He's a freak. (edit: I mean nobody in the UFC. Fedor would kill Lesnar)

I kind of want to start learning a martial art/arts, for self-defense not to compete in tournaments or anything...I'd like to learn boxing and jiu-jitsu, I think knowing those two would prepare you for almost any street fight without weapons. I've been robbed twice on the street and I kinda have a feeling it's bound to happen again, so I'd like to be ready...

p.s- Coolhand, no I haven't heard of this guy Reggie Warren Jr. until today...honestly the guy slightly resembles me, also seems to share my lack of fashion sense, so... kinda scary I still don't have any sound on youtube videos so I really have no clue what he's about...what's the deal?

yeah its really difficult to beat this guy . he comes with his big body over you -bring you down .and than he platt you with his body and he punch you out !! mean he have 120 kg
its hard to beat this animal.
mean frank mir do it with a submission in lesnars first fights . but that was a beginner mistake from lesznar in ufc . this will not happens again so easy

Anybody watching Fedor vs. Rogers??? The main event should be on in a few minutes. Fedor honestly could probably beat this guy blindfolded, but I'll watch anyways...

MASSIVE TKO from Fedor...the guy is simply a god.

I was quite surprised by the 1st round. Rogers wasn't exactly dominating Fedor, but I'd say he won that round. Fedor's nose and brow were gushing blood and smearing all over Rogers during grappling. Rogers got Fedor in a bad spot against the cage and started landing strikes to Fedor's head- I honestly feared that it might be stopped at this point, it was probably 2-3 solid punches to the head away from being stopped by 'Big John' McCarthy (didn't know he was a Strikeforce ref, BTW). The TKO came in the 2nd round with a beautiful right hook to Roger's head that I didn't expect AT ALL, completely devastating and toppling him.

Spectacular fight....bring on Lesnar!!!

emilianenko is a powerfull fighter - i follow not so much the strikeforce series.
i know emilianenko fedor i saw him in some other fights by PRIDE FC
he is strong - very strong.
a fight fedor - leznar sounds good .

fedor is a good ringer -with power in the fists
sadly i see no chances for that fight

you know why big john MC CARTHY is not anymore referee by ufc ?
i heared only that he changed to a complete new fighting series.
he was the referee from the first hour -a legend like the fighters
maybe problems with dana white?????

i had forget the fight completly.

valuev is not a real fighter in my eyes .
he is only big and dumb without punching power.

hey jon i saw the whole strikeforce event fedor- rogers.

i was little dissapointed from the whole event.
but
the fedor rogers fight saved the event.
what a awesome fight.
the black guy rogers was a animal (first punch broke fedors nose!! )
FEDOR shows an awesome fight.
the ko punch from FEDOR was unbelieveble! a hammer !!
i have now a dvd with all 33 mma fights from fedor

i´m sure that will be fun to watch

i watched now all fights from him.
this guy is a killer punching machine.

he is so fast . he have absolutly awesome takedowns and chokes. fast like a snake .
how he eliminate his opponents is hardcore.
and his punches are deadly . funy is that he allways got a big bloody scratch in his fights- in every fight he bleed like a swine !
over his eye -broken his nose -everywhere bloody scratches lol
thats the only fighter i see where can kill brock leznar.
but his handicap is his size !! only 182 cm by 110 kg !!
normally i dislike a little this groundfighting
how he won over mirco crocop-noguera twice and over marc coleman impressed me

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, watching Fedor fight Rogers...'This guy bleeds in every fight!!' That's why, even though Rogers broke Fedor's nose, I thought "It's okay, Fedor will survive" and of course he did.

You touched on two of the things that I think are his biggest strengths- his SPEED and his CHIN (ability to take a strike). I think he has the greatest chin in all of MMA, you simply cannot affect him with normal strikes, it must be superhuman striking (Like Brock, maybe). I'm glad Fedor's shown you what groundfighting can be like He is an armbar master...and he doesn't just lay there on the ground for 15 minutes...when he takes somebody to the ground, you can BE SURE he is going to try to FINISH him right as absolutely soon as possible. He's the most efficient fighter in the world...nothing is wasted, he doesn't keep trying things that aren't working, he just adapts to any situation and does whatever he has to.

*sigh* Fedor is a dream fighter I honestly wish he would join the UFC. I would, without a doubt, pay very good money to buy a ticket to see FEDOR fight live and in person if and when UFC comes to Los Angeles or Las Vegas (or maybe even Mexico or Arizona)

he is the pride champion. absolute nr 1 in in pride +strike
it coast dana white alot of money when he will bring fedor to UFC
I hope he fight in ufc before he is 40
