I'm watching it right now...I'm happy for the people of Germany, it's cool to see MMA done in new countries- how the fans react, how many people are there, etc etc. I hope they (German government) can see that this sport is just as valid and safer than boxing.

Sorry guys, but i break in that thread to say that "Pacman" Paquiao won a terrible fight vs Ringaudo (sorry if i mispelled the name) at Dallas...
It was a great fight... At his age, and after so many big fights to win/defend titles, he still is at his best!
This boxer has a perfect timing, he hits very (but VERY) quickly and kind of ALWAYS hits the target! He's very impressive at it!
Fantastic job from him and his coach, Roach...

the german politicans are all stubborn
it will be hard for UFC to got a foot in the door in germany - i see less chances that this will change soon
.at least i hope.....

what a surprise. NATE "the great" MARQUARD loosed against OKAMI:shock:
so OKAMI is topcontender for fighting the winner between vitor belford and anderson silva(fighting for the title) .wow

our german topfighter dennis siver(the only german good ufc fighter) won against andre winner . very good impressing fight from him
that was nice- but at all UFC 122 was boring -toooo much decisions -less KO ´s or submissions.

only the preleminary fights end with KO´s .crazy

next week UFC 123 start with RAMPAGE vs MACHIDA
and bj penn vs. matt hughes .

cooooooool .

Yeah, from what I heard, this was a really good UFC event...I'm sorry I missed it! I saw the Penn vs Hughes fight (only 20 seconds long) and it was pretty spectacular- I don't mind if a fight is only 20 seconds long if it's that decisive. That's part of what makes MMA so much fun to watch..you honestly have no idea what is going to happen. Could be seconds long, could be a 15 minute (or longer in other leagues) war.

Rampage vs Machida sounds like it was a really close fight...I hate split decisions, though. I hate decisions, period. Many times guys get absolutely SCREWED in the decision and it's boring to watch as well. I'm guessing Machida pretty much just ran from Rampage the whole fight??

I missed all the prelims, too, because this was the night of my concert.

the BJ vs.HUGHES was a cool bout . and a fast one too LOL
i liked how BJ was leaving the octagon and runs back to the dressing room directly after his KO without hearing BRUCE BUFFER ; and HOW his coaches brings him back to the octagon LOL
than joe rogan want start the interview and BJ runs again away LOOOL

the RAMPAGE -MACHIDA fight was little boring .
also the judges made clearly a wrong decision.
normally MACHIDA won the fight clearly in my opinion-he won round 2 and esspecially round 3 clearly .
RAMPAGE won the first round very close
mean i prefer RAMPAGE much more than MACHIDA but this decision was wrong !!
i think there will be a re-fight !

i also hate when a fight goes over decision. that sucks.....mostly .
only a few decision bouts was good in UFC history .
i will see crazy submissions or sick knockouts

all the preliminary fights was awesome .
they all ended with KO and submission - just the tyson griffin -nick lentz bout ended via split decision(by the way griffin loosed  )

Did anybody see Jerome Le Banner walk out of his fight at the K-1 World Grand Prix Final??

One of the craziest things I've seen in sport...JLB's an awesome fighter but he acted like a total bitch!! He was upset that the fight was a draw after 3 rounds and had to go to the 4th round but he was way out of line, if you watch the fight it was most definitely a draw.

Yes i saw it.

I guess it was not his intention...he felt he won that fight, then it came to a draw. Some times you simply overreact in such a situation.

So he just decided to walk out of the ring? lol
That is really a weird reaction. Even stupid, actually.
So what type of ruling does this sport have for this type of scenario? Will this Le Banner character now face any disciplinary action?

no, he just loose the fight - its like when you throw the white towel in boxing .
this was really so a dissapointing reaction from LE BANNER.

you know hes a real hop or top fighter (means make KO or go KO ) -i never saw such a behavior from him.first time ever.
maybe also possible is ,that he was dissapointed not to got the win from judges -but i think its more my first supposing (to tired to fight a 4th round)

BTW: i will search for a past fight interview from him

ok I see.

anyway, GOA, whilst I have you here let me ask you something I heard of recently. This is off-topic but I thought I didn't want to start a thread about it.

So you're based in Germany, right?
Is it true that all german blogs / websites will be offline early in January 2011?
I mean I heard that due to the new law for the protection of children and youth, all German websites, photos, videos, clips, blog websites, etc... need a "Movie rating" like for 6, 12, x-rated and so on.

They say this audit costs money - so, depending on how many photos you have or reviews written on a site, you have to pay or take everything offline. If you do the movie rating by yourself you can get punished or a disciplinary written letter.

The first websites are offline, endless will follow.

Is this true? Quite ridiculous if it is!

but its true the german gouverment is planing a age rating for german websides ,but only for websites where comes from inside germany -

when they not puplish a agerating on their webside they got punished with paying penalty money

how it work exactly i can´t say at moment .here is a blog about, in one of my favorite movie sites about german cencored movies/games music ecetera ,sadly its written in german

http://www.schnittberichte.com/news.php?ID=2411

but equal they will do ,there are allways ways on PC to avoid this .

in my opinion this whole thing is crap .
