Guys,

Since you all are talking about the NBA and all, what do you think about the Nets' and Knick's performance this year?

The only things that is about right are the teams' name and jersey numbers.

The Knicks need Lebron-Wade-Noah...And maybe a 3 pts "catch & shoot" scorer too (like Reggie Miller)...When they'll get this they will be back in playoffs and maybe more...Madison deserve it!!!
i don't really like the Nets...

I'll see your Iverson and raise you one Stephon Marbury.

To me the Knicks should have test Iverson...As Marbury left, they have what it takes to test the guy...A 1 year (or 6 months) contract...I mean, they are not good now...They have nothing to loose...They should have take the risk...

I am really surprised that NBA managers did not fire the coaches yet. Any news on that for the Knicks and Nets?

I hear the coaches explaining the 15+ losses each time.

Apparently Lawrence Frank (Nets head coach) just got fired. That's a shame...he was there for a while and I thought he was a decent coach.

I don't know why the coach is always the first to go when a team starts losing...as if promoting some random assistant and leaving everything else the same is going to magically turn the team around.

It's business. :( I think it is unfair too, but that is the way NBA management works. :(

I do not like this concept really. To me, I think it is something to take on a new team with different players. You cannot expect wonders; but, for management, it is about the money and the name.

A.I. back to the Sixers? That sounds very interesting.

Like some people alluded to on the comments page on the article at ESPN.com, I think that move would benefit the fans more than anyone else. The team would maybe make the playoffs but I doubt they would do much. They never really went anywhere when A.I. was there before - they just made the NBA Finals once, back in 2001. He would definitely sell plenty of tickets and jerseys and generate some buzz, though.

Is A.I. done in terms of his talent? Heck no. I think he's still got a few good years left in him. The decision of whether to keep playing or not will be (mostly) up to him, though.

Well, apparently now it's a done deal according to ESPN. A.I. has rejoined the Sixers.

but, its a 1 year non-guaranteed contract---the reason he was thinking of retiring is because he feels as if he deserves a longer contract that is guaranteed with more money.....most professional players will do better in their final year of a contract.....but, with it being not guaranteed i see him pretty much retiring--thats just my opinion
