couture-toney is a fight grappler versus striker .
the main problem i see is that toney have absolutly no grapplingskill.
thats a big handycap in MMA - less grappling skill is not so dramatic but without ......he need a early knockout punch to win the fight

without a doubt both fighters are over their zenit(best time):
and one thing is for sure ,toney is the biggest trashtalker i have seen a long time .

i must totally agre with jon - UFC 118 was totally boring ...boring boring boring!

the fight couture -toney was a bad joke.
he end like we all expected .
randy takedown toney after 30 seconds and here you saw that toney have absolutly zero groundgame.
he was like a fish -outside from water .
like jon said ...it was a freakshow .

hopefully UFC 119 will be better .
mean more bad isn´´t possible lol

Yeah I'm excited about UFC 119, Mir vs. Cro Cop should be really interesting. I hope the left head kick of death returns

UFC 118 had a few exciting moments but was overall really boring...I think the worst fight was Gray Maynard vs. Kenny Florian. Florian looked bad and did almost nothing but fake the ocassional kick and throw the occassional blocked head kick, but Maynard really did nothing to try to end the fight even though he had the chance- he just took Florian down to score points with the judges and tried to make sure Florian couldn't stand back up. Toney looked absolutely terrible physically, did you see how fat he was?? It was almost insulting that he talks all this trash and then doesn't even show up in fighting shape!! According to Dana White he's done with the UFC, which is good for Toney's sake because he has no idea what he's doing in MMA

I just realized that Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard are going to fight for the L. Heavyweight title...and they both got there by winning decisions

i knowed that the winner between florian and maynard got a titleshot.
dana white said that in the prefight interview (in the link i posted here earlier).
i agree the fight was boring.
mean florian started good with a few mui thai kicks -but at all he do way to less in the complete fight.
way to defensive -only trying not to got a takedown from maynard.
bad performance from florian.
i se not so much chances for maynard to end the fight.
in R1 he bring florian on the ground 20 seconds before end of the round.
in round 2 florian had made a gooddefense on the back.
only in R3 he had the chance to finish the fight in 1-2 situations.
at all the fight was dissapointing.
you knowed that MAYNARD was beating EDGAR in a first fight?
lets se he can do it again!!!

a good fight was DIAZ vs. "the irish handgrenade "marcus davis.
you saw davis face ?
that was a mess- his eye looked so badly .
this guy have my full rerspect -first coz he fight forward and second coz he goes to sleep via a choke ,before he tapping out like other pussys do!!!

this fight was one of the better fights .

also true that JAMES" LIGHTS OUT" tTONEY looked totally untrained .
the best from that fight was as the fight ended very early !!
and the scene where SHAQattack was fighting his friend with ellbows and uppercuts .
that was funny - but the fight............. let us stopp talking about .
its good that toneys MMA carriere stops here.
without a doubt -hes a good boxer but its better that the ""lights out " goes out in MMA .
as long he have no groundgame it makes no sense to fight forward.

without a doubt CROCOP have the best highkicks ever .
i´´m really happy for that fight .
i think MIR will loose the fight.
CROCOP also have a good groundgame what is very underrated .

MIR have a great jiu jitsu skill ;with a great groundgame and good submissions in the backhand. and he also can fight in standup !
this will be a very interrested fight.

Well you don't necessarily need to know Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, you just need to be competent in some kind of grappling art, i.e Greco Roman Wrestling, Judo, Sambo, etc
