Pacquaio wouldn't have had any trouble with this guy. Power-punchers and brawlers generally have never bothered the Pac-Man. Slick counter-punchers give him many problems (eg the Marquez fights), Valero doesn't fall in that category.
I'd say Pacquaio busts this guy up and the ref probably steps in and stops it around the fourth or fifth round. Valero had heart and a decent chin so he would go a few rounds.

Apparently he went 18 FIGHTS without seeing a 2nd round!!?? That's pretty crazy no matter who he's fighting. Shane Carwin is on a similar streak in UFC right now (13-0, all first round KO's or TKO's). Carwin's set to face Brock Lesnar in 2 months or so. I don't know if you know of Brock Lesnar, but the guy is built like the Incredible Hulk.

how do you get to order these UFC fights? you have like a PPV subscription or such?
I mean I would love to give UFC a chance but the main sattelite broadcaster here- 'MultiChoice' just doesn't cover this sport at all.
I guess I could always find the fights afterward somewhere on the net but I always prefer to watch my sport live as it happens.

Yeah I'm with you, I definitely prefer watching my s**t live.

It's not a PPV subscription, it's a $50 (usually) one-time fee for each fight. Pretty damn expensive. My satellite service is DirecTV. I was gonna ask if you guys had that in S.A but I googled it and it's a US only company. I didn't even know that.

Is MultiChoice the only choice for satellite?? Isn't that kind of...ironic??

i think its crazy to pay 50 bucks for every event in TV .thats way too expensive .
to watch it live in arena ....50 bucks are okay ,but not for watching in TV
you can find live streams for free in internet .

i allways wait 5 hours and than i watch it here in HD
http://thepiratebay.org/search/ufc%20/0/7/0

i understand that you like it to watch it live -but 50 bucks for watching UFC on TV is over the line in my opinion.

when it coast 10 bucks -that will be fair .
with 10 bucks i order PPV but not with 50 -sorry dana no way !!

yeah well I didn't say that $50 is fair. It's not, especially taking into account that when converting it to SA currency, it works out to something like 370 ZAR.

btw, the pirate bay?
is that link safe to click on it? any porn or improper material that I should be aware of before taking the plunge? my 9 twin sisters and five adopted brothers including some of my nieces and nephews, have full view of the computer screen at all times. hehe

Yeah I thought it was strange that this happened just because Mayhem asked for a rematch. It was disrespectful of him to come up and say that during Shield's celebration, but it didn't deserve a brawl. You can see Jake Shields very lightly push Mayhem, and that's when the whole thing started.

i wonder me how much people was in the octagon when spoking out the decision ...

mayhem is a funny and crazy guy . he had no bad intension at all by disturbing shields interview .
in UFC this happens often that a challenger comes in the ring to anounce a re fight . i think the shield gang overreacted totally .or i see something wrong?

however ,its a learning process for strikeforce organisation. maybe next time they let not so much guys in the octagon by announcing the decision

BTW: hey drago -you are also a fightfan (i know you like more K1 )
I hope you come more often to discuss with us in this thread .
this turkish bruce lee vid is great. we posted it before here in thread . but its great to watch it again .

I like stand up fighting a little bit more than grappling, but it doesn t change the fact MMA is much closer to REAL (no rule) fighting as K-1 or Boxing.

I am a fan of martial arts, combat sport and street fighting as well. I like combat sport fighters like Fedor, Schilt and the Klitschko s, but i also respect street fighters like Lenny McLean or martial arts Legends like Bruce Lee, Jigoro Kano, Helio Gracie etc.
I started this interest because of Lee, he s the reason why i am such a crazy fan of UFC etc.
I ve got even a tattoo (portrait) of him, i know it s crazy.

And last but not least: I am also interested in former fighting, not just from today. I like Samurai s, Spartan s, British Knights or Shaolin Monks as well.

thats cool - i also favorite stand up fighting.
With beginning watching UFC ,i come little more in this grappling stuff (jiu jitsu)
also my beginning to interrest me for fighting was BRUCE LeE and the SHAOLIN MONKS (die 36 kammern der shaolin)
that was the beginning .
i watched alot of boxing earlier ,but since material arts (UFC- PRIDE) i watch very less boxing. mostly when klitschko , or other germans boxing (abraham and co )

you have tatooed BRUCE LEE ? thats cool

You have a Bruce Lee tattoo? That's awesome, where is it??

I've been aware of UFC for a very long time- one of my best friend's growing up, his dad was a big UFC fan back in the day (early/mid 90's) and they would always order UFC fights on PPV. Back then it had a much more brutal reputation...it was like something that everybody had heard of, but very few people had actually seen. So anyways my point is, I don't really know what particular guy got me into MMA, I've just always been interested in combat sports. I was really into WWF when I was a little kid, I just loved watching guys beat the crap out of each other even though it was fake (which of course I didn't know when I was a kid)

Anyways guys, check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX1EmemBkq8

I'm not one of those guys that just watches MMA to see guys spurting blood everywhere, but damn....the injuries/cuts you can get in MMA makes boxing or K-1 look tame in comparison.
