I think all the songs you guys put on here on great! I also don't think there is a such thing as a best song, for me it's even impossible to say favorite song. So here's a few favorites from a few favorites:

Nightmist - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_83H7CJO ... 62D9D8C6B0

Falling/The Perfect Element - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fARgx6GHWp4

IMO, their best song. The Count of Tuscany.

Also, Golden Brown

And Bastogne Blues. I find this song simply stunning. If you are in the mood for slow, bleak, epic song. Listen to it. I feel Al may enjoy it.

I really enjoy The Count of Tuscany. It's certainly my favorite song on Black Clouds I'd say but I can't put it in front of some others simply because for me it's just not there vocally. With the driving style of the verses there's very little vocal melody and the lyrics are a little on the weak side for me. Musically though it's absolutely fantastic the intro is my one of my favorites.

I suppose you could say. I kinda like the vocals. They seem to suit the track. And about the verses, I get the feeling the verses are used to.. drive the music to the chorus'?

But yeah, they have some other pretty awesome songs. Finally Free, Octavarium, Learning to Live, Ministry of Lost Souls, In the Name of God, Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. A couple of the longer songs I like on the new album too (the rest are mainly forgettable), those being Bridges in the Sky and Lost Not Forgotten(I don't understand that random wanky bit before the first verse though...).

Did you enjoy Black Clouds? I've heard it get a lot of shit, but I really enjoyed it. It's probably my joint 3rd favourite.

Yeah I really honestly like all their albums I've loved DT for a long time now. I feel like people always criticize all their albums but to me I like that they're all pretty different. Even A Dramatic Turn I like a good deal again it's the lack of any real stand out vocal parts that hold it back but Mangini does a terrific job and the production sounds great. I really enjoy the songs you said plus Outcry is great and Breaking All Illusions. Really the only song I don't care for is Build me Up Break Me Down it seems a little too "modern" for my taste.

Black Clouds is awesome! A Nightmare to Remember is one of my favorites as well. The intro is great and the entire "Lying on the Table..." part is just SUPERB.
