I agree about Pikmin, it's an awesome game! It's a hard cute awesome game!
And I was also a big fan of Duck Hunt!! Played it not long ago and it was still a lot of fun! ^^

Seriously?! I tested the demo and it was too hard for me! (But I do hate puzzle games and all).
And yes, the Tomb Raider Reborn looks splendid! I've never been a fan of Lara but this one I'll try it for sure! ^^

I have no #1 games, but I think the PS2 is not far from beeing the #1 engine to me!...

I'm mostly just playing NCAA Football 2012 and TS4 right now -- will buy FIFA 2012 when that comes out.

I also have Gamefly, so I can play a lot of games I wouldn't want to buy (which is basically any game that's not sports, because once I beat a game I don't have much interest in playing it again). Just beat Dungeon Siege 3, which was okay but nothing special.

Really looking forward to Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, Elder Scrolls V, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Some of my favorite games ever (I'm sure there are games I'll leave off of here that I loved, but just off the top of my head):

Civilization
Witcher 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Monkey Island
King's Quest
Arcanum
Suikoden (except 4 which was awful)
Football Manager
TIE Fighter
Red Dead Redemption
Knights of the Old Republic
Pirates!

TIE Fighter's an awesome game that I bet a lot of people here are too young to have ever played or even heard of :P That game was incredible, maybe the best PC game ever for a while.

I still have the CD for TIE Fighter actually (and the original X-Wing), but I have no idea how to run it on modern Windows

I also love the old Wing Commander games....Wing Commander 3 and 4 are epic! I still remember blowing up Kilrah for the 1st time or defecting to the Border Worlds for the 1st time...haha wow I'm a nerd

Yeah I have the Collector's Edition CD of TIE Fighter -- had TIE Fighter plus both expansion packs. Also have the Collector's Edition of X-Wing, but X-Wing was too **** hard. I never even came close to beating that game; I beat TIE Fighter repeatedly. And yeah, I'd definitely put in TIE Fighter and play it again if I could make it work properly.

As with all older games and software, you right click on the application that would run it, select Properties, choose Compatibilty Tab, select the "Run in Compatabilty Mode" box and choose the windows version it normally or used to run on. I had to do this for old sofware i had, especially stuff that gets discontinued or forgotten about with no patches or updates :)

Oh trust me I've tried that with TIE Fighter.

It's a DOS game so it didn't really work with Windows even when it was released.

I have got it running but it always freezes up.

They have to have had released an updated version of the game by now, though....I mean, I just re-bought Fallout 1 and 2 in a version that's updated for modern Windows, I dunno why they wouldn't do it with an absolute CLASSIC like Tie Fighter that millions of people love.

ahhh i c, never realized it was a DOS Program,
quick search brought up a soloution for using a dos emulator as says windows stopped dos after xp.

suggestions are a DOS Emulator.

http://boards.theforce.net/games_videog ... 733849/p1/

i see it on the torrent sites as part of a trilogy for downloading if you do that kinda thing ?? PC Compatabile.
Games are: Star Wars Flight-Sim Gems(X-Wing,TIE-Fighter, X Wing Alliance.
