and now.........

the outsider RUSSIA got the worldcup.
thats a big big sensation !!

I was in Bahrain, where drink is legal, as a result all the Saudi's go over during their weekend to drink, they also own houses their, so it really is a great stimulus for their economy.
I am surprised not more of the Middle-Eastern countries have followed suit.

They always look for new places trying to help the hosts to develop their economies, no reasonable explanation mate.

Russia won over Spain-Portugal for 2018, no comments.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

The Middle East is the most f**ked place on earth, we should stop holding sporting events there until they join the 21st century with regards to basic freedoms, women's rights, etc...

*cough* Guantanamo Bay *cough*
In Bahrain, legally, women have equal rights, while equality is not accepted by all it is by most. Again look at America, or any western country where blacks, muslims, jews are still highly discriminated against.

Of course i still do agree that the majority of the Mid East is **** up.

bahrain is by a substantial way the most democratic and "westernised" middle eastern country, although it is pretty much a absolute monarchy with a fig-leaf government. that being said freedom of speech and tolerance of other races and religions is amongst the best in the middle east. so long as they can keep on top of any insane islamic fundamentalists that crop up all should be well.

at all there are no indoor stadions (so far i know),the open air stadions maybe will be only airconditioned !
hopefully for the players all of them

by the way all can visit the stadions ,only not the womenfolks -for woman its not allowed to visit the stadions .of course this counts not for tourists
