i´m surprised that BENZAMA isn´t nominated for WC
i can´t wait till the WC start -
sadly this WC the matches comes in deep night in germany - so some sleepless nights will come in june.

my favorite team at all for winning the WC is SPAIN !!

but i will vote for germany coz thats my country plus we have a real good team on board .

we have a easy group with australia ,serbia and ghana .

And no,only 3 goal keepers but 7 players will leave this 1st list so we go to WC with only 23 players...
And until 1 June teams can call extra player (but only to take the place of another player : stll a roster of 23)

Big surprise also that Nasri (Arsenal midfielder) is not in French team!
They say (in french news) that they pay the fact that they don't get along well with ol' timer (Henry,...)
To me,Benzema didn't do a good season (but as Henry,so...But Henry is the captain) and it's not a surprise as big as for Nasri

Domenech didn't pick Nasri,Benzema,Cissokho...and I never understood why he never picked Frey.he is one of the best goalkeepers of the world...
i'll be happy untill domenech is French coach...he doesn't understand anything about football

Also Dunga and Maradona took strange decisions

he is very criticized because :
-he picked many OLD players.they have not been playing good since the last world cup as Cannavaro,camoranesi,zambrotta,iaquinta.he picked them as a sort of gratitude...
-then he picked a lot of juventus players and Juve,this year made a disaster year...(lippi coached juve for many years)
-then italy doesn't have talented players...doesn't have a N:10.
he didn't pick players Cassano,Totti,Balotelli...Lippi doesn't focus on young players...

Anything less then a win is a shame for Spain. They have the best team all around with star players on every part of the pitch. I dont see how they could be beaten.

As for Netherlands, we have one of the best attacks of the tournament (Robben, Sneijder, vd Vaart and van Persie) but a very weak defense. Only Mathijsen and vd Wiel are top material. This is the rest of the squad:

Vurnon Anita (Ajax) - Youth player who is normally a right midfielder but played a season at left back in the Ajax squad because of injuries.
Khalid Boulahrouz (VfB Stuttgart, Dui) - 7 matches at Stuttgart this season
Edson Braafheid (Celtic, Sch) - failed in Munich, failed in Glasgow (14 matches in total)
Giovanni van Bronckhorst (Feyenoord) - solid left back in the past. This season it shows he is too old really. Eredivisie wingers are passing him on a regular basis. I rather not see Messi against him...
John Heitinga (Everton, Eng) - Average center back in the past but has been playing as defensive midfielder this season at Everton
Joris Mathijsen (Hamburger SV, Dui)
André Ooijer (PSV) - Too old and lots on injuries this season.

Cyssokho is behind Evra,Abidal and even Reveillere can play Left...He will have to wait!
About Frey : He played a match (versus Scotland if i'm right) and did bad,blaming...the spotlights!That didn't help him,and since Domenech hardly think and very hardly change his opinion...Frey is out! But i agree with you Petrelli that Frey is one of the best!I like him a lot too!
There are some names i don't know in the Squadra! Candreva,Cossu,Boccheti,Bonucci...And may i remind you that Pepe is Portuguese,not Italian!
