I don't think that is normal andoni... I have 2 gamepads (PS3), for over a year, the buttons are worn (and triggers), sticks seem ok, a bit loser than new, but both gamepads are useable with no problem and I would say will last me the whole of this year.

These gamepads have been used a lot.. Although I don't use the right stick to stick serve.... But your problem is with the left stick?

Ive broken 4 controllers in a year

Always the left stick, the rubber always comes off, and we know that can lead to 'accidents'

Yes, the problem is the left stick. one was taken off the coating. and the other has broken the circular base. I have to admit that I play so passionate, but maybe too much!!

You have multiple broken ps3 controllers now right? If your left stick is broken on one of them i would try to fix it by replacing one right stick from a broken controller to a left stick of another broken controller. That way you have 1 working controller.

My sticks went on my sixaxis. Kept sticking, on my dualshock 3 the right one is starting to go but is fine for now. controllers are expensive!

Thanks a lot
I didn't dare to do it but today i opened my 2 broken cotrollers. I changed the sticks and now at least i have one decent controller. The amazon's rubbers seem great. Thanks for the link :D

Are you throwing these controllers in a blind rage, often???

That might explain why they're broken.

I have also found out, that bashing the controller can cause severe damage to the controller
