Do you follow the ATP Tour?

Religiously ... I visit the ATP web site on a regular basis, check the newspaper for results and watch as many tournaments as possible.

Casually ... I check the results/rankings now and again and watch televised tournaments when nothing better is on.

Not really ... though I do watch all, or most of the Grand Slam events.

Just curious as to how many ITST members follow the men's professional tennis tour - and to what degree.

I do follow some dutch players in the paper.(I do this for a lot of sports) Just to see what results they are getting. But i dont like watching tennis at all. It takes to long :) So my anwer is a combination of the second and the fourth.

I check out ATP news/rankings now and then. Unfortunately they don't show much tennis on TV in Germany. Eurosports shows mostly WTA tour. But they show the Grand Slams tourneys which I follow all the way.

ME TOO

Postby Ir0kuM4t4 » Sat, 05 Nov 2005 18:44

I FOLLOW THE ATP SITE EVERY DAY EVERYWHERE. I consult the site all days at least 3 times per day and even when I'm on vacation I go to cyber cafés to watch the site and news. In Portugal we only have EuroSport too and Sport TV (the first you know what it is and the second it's mostly a football channel and sometimes passes Tennis - ridiculous). Tennis is my favourite sport, and I play it too, I'm a competition player in reality, I mean I enter in tournaments and stuff like that, however I don't want to be a tennis player. BUt it's my favourite sport, definetely!!!!

I'm a fan of the ATP tour and I like watching tennis on tv. The fact that a match can take so long is the fun part  It's sad that they don't show much of the men's tennis on tv. But when they do, I'm there to watch it. I also read match reports and follow live scores and much as I can.

I really love this sport in every forms: I play tennis since 10 years and i like to follow it in television(in particular GS and Master series events); sometimes i read news, tnts in progress, rankings on the ATP site. If I add to this activities the hours spent on playing online I reach the status of perfect "Tennis Man"... :) :) :)

I follow the score on tv with teletext and watch the matches when there are. But it's really rare in Italy. There is only one channel, Sport Italia that shows some minor tournaments, as Biella, Palermo, etc. In public tv we can see only final and semifinal of Rome master series and Italian Davis cup sometimes. No other matches in all the year

Well I would say the first and the second answer as well!
I mean, the second one because I'm interested by tennis and I like to know the important results or sometimes to watch some matches...
And, on the other hand, the first one because everything changes when it's about Juan Carlos Ferrero. Then, I follow everything, every result, every tournament, every news about him... so, from casually, it becomes religiously with him!
Ferrero is not finished...
