i listen a the moment a lot of good old German Trash Metal like Kreator and Sodom. you guys know them? Morgoth a german Death Metal Band is one of my lovely bands and Gorefest. Napalm Death is a great band too.
but im a real Dream Theater addict . its the best band of the world. perfect live performance a John Petrucci is my hero. Also Liquid Tension is so great.

Yeah that pretty much describes DT. Petrucci is an amazing guitarist but I personally find DT a little 'boring'. It's just my opinion though I'm not really into 'progressive' metal.

I like Kreator especially out of those bands you mentioned. 'Pleasure To Kill' is one of my favorite albums ever! German thrash metal rules! I like Sodom and Destruction too but Kreator is definitely the best.

You like Behemoth?? They're another of my favorite bands

I always liked Portnoy so i like dream theater, but the vocals are killing me hears...... I enjoy the liquid tension experiment band too.
I played a lot of dream theater songs with my band but without any singers and it's great to play. So technical.... really loved it. However, I haven't listened any of those in a while.
