Ah, I see what you are saying. Still, by "running out" implicitly I guess I am referring more to the point where oil is just not reasonably available any more. Of course, there is no breaking point between where it is and is not reasonably available, since the breaking point will be different for different people and different situations. But yes I get your point.

Yeah, pretty much. It is a gradual increase, not a crisis like people perceive.

Oil will ALWAYS be available, but at some point, the price will make it obsolete.

Makes me so **** annoyed that people use this as an example to attack nuke power. I don't see how anyone can be against power if they are intelligent and have at least some decent knowledge of physics.

So the fact that a nuclear reactor built in the 60's is leaking some radiation after being hit by an earthquake and tsunami. Resulting it diseal engines that pump cooling water in to stop and the chaos of tsunami preventing quick employment of battery generators.

Just had to rant that.

Also pretty **** scenario but at least it happened in a highly developed country so they can deal with it better, may not be best thing for world economy but yeah things will bounce back but japan = aging population + shrinking population is very bad.

Also talking about oil never running out get point but same result essentially, I bet last bits of oil dedicated to military sadly.
