I haven't followed this story very closely, but I would think that of particular interest and importance would be the fact that since the Muslim-Arab world is a single cultural-religious-political bloc, thus when a major event in one part of it, this time in Egypt, affects the thinking and action in other parts of this huge bloc. No?

Correcto mondo. Some say how what happened in tunisia inspired egyptian people further.

Going to be very interesting couple of years to see what happened politically across the region.

Not only will it have a chain reaction in the Middle East but will also have an impact on the world.

I think that the evident demostration of rioting and a political head leaving office will encourage copy-cat behavior across the seas.

How bad was Mubarak? Like how many people did he kill over his term?

Never known too much about Egyptian affairs.
