So she gave up on the climb already?
Yeah well some people need to acclimate to altitude better than others.
She might have figured that "I'm a great athlete, I can do this"
Doesn't always work that way.

I'd for sure never be able to do that. The highest altitude I've ever been at is 14,000 feet in Colorado and it was extremely uncomfortable for me.

Yea. You are so right about that! You can't use that great athlete concept for everything in life. :roll:

I hope she will be fine soon. I think she is more down mentally and emotionally than physically.
