PowerSIM Tournament - Player's Viewer program

Postby Ir0kuM4t4 » Thu, 06 Dec 2007 00:09

Hey. As Slicer asked me next I post the link the players who signed up for the PowerSIM tournament can download the program that allows everyone to see the opponent's player, in order to make sure no one will cheat, having more than 1 stars on volley or volley skill (of course this is just a safety measure because it's obvious no one would cheat   ). I'll post the link and a brief explanation about how to use the program:

Top Spin Player Viewer -

http://rapidshare.com/files/31863876/TOTS_Player_Viewer.rar

Instructions - After you've downloaded the program open the folder and you will find many files. Among them, click twice on the filled called "lastman". Wait and after a bit a black window will appear, followed by a table called "Top Spin Player Browser". Here you can check all the characteristics of all of your players (age, serve, skills, starts, heigth, weight, etc) and on the bottom of the list there's one line called "NetOpp000". Click there and you will be able to see all the characteristics of your last net opponent's player (note, you can only see your last opponent).

I think this will be very useful, this way problems like someone using more than two stars on volley will be reduced to a very small amount (or even 0% I hope  ). Take care and good play!

P.S: Please if you can just vote on the poll so we can have an idea about how much persons download it already. If possible, those who voted yes please if you could identify yourself it's some help too (players who already had the program please don't vote).

PowerSIM it's a variation of the normal SIM. On this kind of game you simply can't have more than 1 star on volley, either volley skill. It's something to promote baseline game and to change a bit from the normal SIM, boring already, because with 5 stars on volley it's just very hard to pass an opponent at the net. This way it's an idea to promote the old school baseline game. This gives also a chance to other players who never could have such success on the SIM tour because they were pure baseliners to have sucess here with their baseline skills. I dindn't say someone used it lol because the tournament didn't even started! On this type of game, that's the point, you just can't have more than 1 star on volley or volley skill. If you are caugh on that I suppose you are desqualified or something.
It's just a click to understand what PowerSIM is, it cound't be more simple:

If I could, I'm afraid I wouldn't win much

Well another subject, as I said I would post the video of the powersim match me and Rafa played. I had to split it into two parts, otherwise it wasn't possible to see on Youtube or to upload to Rapidshare for non-premium members to download (forgive me for my strange way of playing, I mean the cameras, and for sometimes pass the sequence too fast; I think the music selection it's very peculiar  ):

1st Part -
