retirement

Postby xesco15 » Sun, 23 Oct 2011 16:10

hi, i have decided that i m going to leave the page at the end of the year, because i m very tired of some situations.
the main reason is that in the tournament of quito, i ve received a walkover and i could play the match 3 days. i think that it is unfair, and for that, i m going to leave the page soon.
i have known a lot of fantastic persons how zooloo, moralsapin, belim and a lot of persons.
i would like that my host of the tournament of quito, cro morgan , who is an excellent host, understand that i must have won the match by walkover.
however, my opponent, c_pardo, has won the match and i m eliminated.
i have enjoyed much playing tournament and training matches, but i think that my stage in the itst is going to finish soon.

Please guys, Dajrvik, Cro and Rob have a lot of job, hosting tournaments is just a fragment of what they have to do to keep this up and running, and i swear you guys they always do their best to answer all your doubts as soon as possible.

Xesco, in this particular case Cro contacted me and explained me why he gave your opponent the walkover, and i as far as i remember i sent you this morning a PM in spanish, your native language explaining you the whole thing, so we (Cro and i) acted well in my opinion.

Quitting the page just because one of us make a "bad" (according to you) decision is not the best way to react when you don't agree with a decision. I ask you to think it over and stay.

We, all of us, always, try to make the fairest decision, but it's impossible everyone agrees with those decisions, just impossible.

It's just a videogame, don't forget this, please.

you've got a PM, think it over man. It's just a match decision in a videogame tennis tournament

My match in that tournament got cancelled too. I thought my opponent should get the 'WO' since he is more proactive in scheduling the match than me. We had trouble scheduling our match because of our time different and normal life schedule. Maybe I should email the host next time to give my opponent the 'WO' so at least one of us can move on. After all, we were one day late, so can't blame the host for cancelling our match.

Maybe there was a translation problem? I see that all of the messages you exchanged were in Spanish, so the host might have had to use a translator. When I use Google translate, it looks like you said it was going to be complicated to play, because you could only play on Friday.

Hey man, im almost having the same situation, im pissed of about it but i decided to NOT give a shit about it and move on and enjoy the game.
I found out who my opponent is on 18 october, the deadline was 22 of october! i kept sending him messages to add me on PSN so we play when we are both online.
he added me one day after the match, i contacted the host and all.., i even played the guy today and won the match, but the host never answered and another moderator said its my fault that i didnt set a clock for our match! so he simply wasted 4 days while i was aware of the match...and now i got a "NO MATCH" , out of tournament.
im not happy about that, thats not fair IMO, but i moved on...so give yourself a favor and continue cause it doesn't worth it.

All of this was explained to you via PM. Please don't insinuate that I have ignored your messages. I have answered all of your questions.

Once again, if you can only play on Friday (the deadline) as you told your opponent in your initial PM, please consider skipping the tournament. It's completely unfair to expect your opponent to play on the lone day you are available.

If you would like to discuss this further, please do so via PM.

Thanks.

firtsly, i explain you that i could have played on monday and tuesday but he answered very late, and we can t play.
i haven t offent you. i only have said that the person who has answered to my two last messages and the more important messages has been moralspain.
moreover, i wrote the message to c_pardo on thursday and he didn´t read until friday at 20 CET. i was hoping him until 20 30 CET and he wasn´t online.
i think that i have treat this topic very well, so don t say that i insinuate or not.
it can be an error: yes or not, ok perfect you have done the walkover to c_pardo and i only have asked why??
and i have treat bad, sorry but i think that my behave has been well.
