Djarvik joins ITST Staff as Senior Host

Postby Cro Morgan » Mon, 07 Jun 2010 05:44

The ITST is pleased to announce that Djarvik has accepted the position of Senior Host.

No introduction needed here as Djarvik is certainly one of the more active members at the ITST. Not only is he a well respected player (on three different tours) Djarvik can generally be found in the middle of every forum discussion (singing the praises of Gulbis, mostly) works as a Tournament Host and played a very large part in the creation of the successful TS3 Sim Tour.

For those who may not be familiar with the role, a Senior Host is basically a position between that of a Manager/Administrator and a Host. The Senior Host provides additional points of contact for every ITST member, and, will act as the main contact to the Hosts in helping support the excellent work they do in our events.

As a Senior Host, Djarvik will also help monitor the progress of tournaments, aid in the creation of tournaments, close tournaments and help moderate the Forum.

To ensure that the ITST continues to run smoothly, another Senior Host will be added to the staff in the near future.

With regard to current Management, I will continue to act as Interim Manager and Slicer, the Site Administrator. Aamchi, the Webmaster, will continue to do all of his button-pushing and problem solving behind the ITST curtain.

On that note, I'd like to thank Djarvik for donating his very valuable time and support, and wish him well with this new position.
