Hello to all, I just have a quick question about short slices. People use it all the time on itst, albeit not to the point of abusing the shot, but it comes up on every crucial point like a tiebreaker for instance. (and yes im well aware that blaring out my weakness is probably not a good idea, but i have too many weaknesses to let it bother me)

so my question is.. how do i defend short slices? Thoughts? advice on the matter?

Top Spin/Lift shots are the best for that type of shot I think. But if you'r VERY good at slicing risk slice back (short or deep it doesn't really matter).
Work me a boss.

I like LT+B (topspin with the left trigger).

the only advice I can give is #1: react to them as soon as possible so you can get on top of the ball/not lunge for it, #2: be prepared to follow your shot into the net, don't back up and try to reposition, you will lose the point most of the time.

mostly after a short slice the opponent played a hard topspin cross or longline . that makes this slice so dangerous for me

i try to answer it with rt lt x , RT B or when opponent played it more often ,i prepair a drop shot.

at all the timing is important.

myself i dislike this short slice only when my opponent played it permanently . that is boring and a cheap easy tactic
