Big Thank You

Postby Ir0kuM4t4 » Mon, 04 Jan 2010 16:44

Hey! First of all I would like to congratulate Thierry for coming out of nowhere again and winning the tour finals against such a great player as Rikardo. Also, congratulations to MasterWaska for winning the Women's final and finally ending the season as number 1 he was deserving that for some time already.

Now the main reason of this post. Once this tour is ended and I'm not thinking about playing other tours I would like to give a big thank you too all the players and friends I've played troughout these 5 years. I had great moments here, some other bad but at the end it was an amazing experience and still if it doesn't seem I think I learnt some things for my life here. Sorry but I won't be here naming players because there were so much I would like to say a special word that the post would be giant and ufortunately I'm also having exams and I don't have much time, maybe one day later I will give a proper personal thanks to each one. Those who I am referring to know who they are. Thank you very much guys for all the matches, nice conversations, be it on gamespy or in the forum and also thank you very much to the hosts and to the newswriters without you it would never be possible to have this tour and to live so much years after it's release. I'll miss this but in part I also feel it's time to move on and as some players know I was already thinking in leaving in 2010, at the beggining of 2009 so now even if I wanted to stay I couldn't hehe. At least I'm happy how this ended afterall these years, specially with this season. I leave with some sadness but with a smile! I hope you will miss so much the matches against me as I will against you! Thank you very much for everything guys, good luck in your lifes and maybe one day some of us will have the chance to meet personally! Take care you all!

Very sweet! I am glad that ITST had you to be the #1 sim player of 2009, undefeatable at that. What class!

You and I have shared some great matches (well . . . for you . . .) and words of wisdom together.

You are right. ITST and its members have certainly improved our mentality. I know it has for me! :P

Thanks for picking the right place to be for 5 years! I am sure that we would not have had it any other way if we were to go back in time.

All good things must come to an end, still, it's sad to see the PC TS1 tour reach it's conclusion. Thanks to everyone who participated over the years. While I never played the PC game, it was great fun following the action. A tip of the hat to you all.

...skip the Top Spin 2 and head straight to Top Spin 3! :P

I loved Top Spin 1, but at the time I was unaware of ITSTs existence

Will there be something that we can get to remember this tour? It is the longest running tour ever.

I feel that we should say good bye too, but I sure feel sad and empty. It is hard to describe with words really.

Wow. A lot of history and statistics happened over the years! 8)

A tip to you Cro for the excellent news writing. We cannot forget the hosts and managers too. :) A job well done. I guess it is safe to say that ITST goes down as the longest tour to cover this game. It sure gives me a break with recruiting players for this tour. Whew! :)

I guess I can concerntrate on the Top Spin 2 and Dream Match Tennis tours now.

I didn't want to mention names as I said, just because it would be so many. But of course, once Q reffered to the news writing, it's obvious one of my big thanks goes to you Cro and also Berg. You were excellent!
