Doubles matchs

Postby diesel501 » Sun, 04 Oct 2009 17:54

Has there ever been a doubles comp on tour or is it too awkward to set up matchs ie everyone in different time zones organising times when everyone is on, would be difficult. Personally I think it would be interesting.
What do you guys think?

There has been a doubles tour. If I am not mistaken, I believe there was one for the X-box tour? I know that we had one for the PC tour.

It starts strong when it is new, but dies off when we reach the second year for some reason. I think it is because what you stated.

I hope to see another one soon, but ITST may have to lessen the tournaments and increase the deadline period to see greater longevity in the future tour(s).

some years ago in other tennis games (ts2) we had a double tour .YEARS IN PAST !!!
so there was never a real ts3 double tour !! :we have no ts3 double tour coz its too difficult to handle. you need two players at same xbox to play double matches .
with that ,we have not enough player for a tour !!
itst had test it in past with some double testtournaments ,

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Precisely. Thanks Moralspain. I guess ole Q. Reeseser does know what he is talking about.

Actually, I was referring more to the question of did ITST ever have a doubles tour. The answer to that question is yes. :)

Thanks again man. I have been here long enough to answer correctly, especially with this simple question :D

exactly! And I want to reinforce Xavi's opinion and reference about Q answering that question that was asked, only for the sake of seeing if Q will reference my oppinion and will once again say that that was the question he was answering and that my oppinion is once again proves Q's relevance to the question asked earlier and the answer given by Q to that exact question and hopefully that will show everyone that Q's answer to original question and Xavi's follow up link and my reinforcement of all said above and a final confirming confirmation that will be posted by Q is indeed exactly what Q is trying to do, which is help to answer the original question that was posted and that Q was answering to and Xavi and I agreed that it was indeed relevant and in desparate and immidiate need of answer that Q provided.

yeah ,we had a double ranking.
but with 3 played testtournament ,to call the whole thing ,""a tour" is a little to far from the stars .

sure Q.Reese will call it a tour
for me that was some testtournaments with ranking points to see,its enough interrest out there "TO START A TOUR "

the result was: that no tour start coz not enough doubleplayer was out there for a tour

Doubles is a good point...

Me and RAE played 1-2 times against Xavi and his brother. Is here an other double around who want to play against us or Xavi and his brother?

I hope we ll find more double teams...

The key is there used to be a doubles tour for different circuits. That is all I was talking about.
