There should be an ITST timezone. We all will be organized by that hour. We can look at the website or forum to find out the time.

Also, the good thing about it is this . . . IT WILL NEVER CHANGE (SUMMER OR FALL TIME).

That is world peace.

What is so crazy about it? There is one set timing for all the ITST members to follow. I think it is neat. :)

You have to wonder why that ITST Timezone idea was never implemented?
It sounded really practical.

Honestly, having had a lot of difficulties scheduling matches using CET when time changes (do you use CEST or not?) and constantly having people constantly missing matches due to this, I think Q's idea of having it at a constant time like GMT is a good idea

CET works well

i totally agree, CET time works perfectly

come on ,thats school stuff from the third class .
just compare how far is your timezone away from CET time and voila ,you got it.

the CET time changes not daily !
it is just changing once per year from wintertime to summertime (one hour) and end in same way .

hey come on ,this can not be that difficult .
http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbr ... u/cet.html

at least ,for all where didn´t reached the 3rd class(joke) ,please use ROB´s advice to this site here

with this you didn´t must mathematic anything ,it do it automaticly for you

BTW: sorry again for re-open this thread ,i founded the timezone thread by itst ,and i needed it (to find the canadatime for UFC124 ),than i had a laughing flash yesterday about reading the comments . sorry

When the time-zones changes, I had around 15 oppenents for around a month not come on time as a result. Many other people had similar problems.
The CET works far from well.

Actually, an ITST time is not a bad idea. But it wont fix the main problem. People still need to convert their time to a different time. And thats where it usually goes wrong. CET is most useful for us because more of our members live in Europe (at least that was the case).

Except when everyone buys a new watch and sets it on the ITST time .

Foxclocks is more convinient imo. IF have firefox get it. Then you can have set some times in your browser ie us pacific us central us east and cet and gmt/utc. Also can easily search for any country and almost every state.

Also base it off GMT. Because people have things set as GMT +'x'. I've never seen CET + 'y'.

Oh thanks man. I also found out that Google calendar has a pretty good world clock too! It is a great add-on gadget you can download for free. :P

Then again, if we are using CET, I think it's better to use my favorite link I posted before. 8)
