I know this is definitely to do with the dual shocks and the original non rumble pads. I switched to a different serve and now it has none of the trouble that simply wasn't my fault. 8)

that happened to me too

I knew i must not have been the only one. I'm guessin it's quite hard to notice because not many people use serve d, nor have they had their sixaxis broken and maybe switched to the dualshock. Maybe someone can fill me in on this. I guess for someone to experience this, all the above must occur.

yeah, do you ever sometime's have the 'springs' in the l2 or r2 buttons 'stick' so you involuntarily have to hit a risk shot mid way through the rally? Matter of fact it can be during ANY shot. It's not the lag either, it's definitely the controller.

That's the thing, the sixaxis ARE perfect, until it breaks. The sixaxis is SUPERIOR for TS3 but once it breaks, since they don't produce them anymoreand you have to switch to a dualshock, it could be a problem mostly with the serve animations.

Well, i have two Sixaxises. It is nearly their third christmas(including the one i got them on), so they have served me well. I like their lightness, but i also like when there is vibrations :(

I find rocket science a stroll in the park compared to trying to find any consistent timing and placement on serve :P
