I forget which letter it is but it is roddicks motion.....for me It is much easier to time a quick motion, then to wait for the player to go though so many animations before tossing the ball.

I can only use A or Federer's (whatever letter it is), but...I've been finding that, like coke4 said, animation 'A' kind of leaves me vulnerable to risk returns :? Sometimes I feel like I'm pressing and releasing the shot button in a timely fashion, but my guy just doesn't react/swing at the return!! It's a little frustrating I guess, maybe I will try Federer's animation.

D seems the quickest.

Hey Tonedawg

Why did you combine A and B together on the vote? I chose A, but it would be nice to see how many use B... As far as I have seen, you are the only one who uses B! (and very good with it)

The Nadal service motion seems to generate more spin (E?)

Nadal's service motion is E yes.

I've actually hardly tried anything different than A. Might have tried D, and chose C for my Lopez character. Don't know why C is considered cheesy though, I don't gain any higher percentage with it. But then maybe it's because I try to serve aggressively when playing S&V. And I never fail R2+button anyway with A...

Serve A is what works for me, it just seems like the most natural and fluent timing wise.

Glad to see nobody loving C.

I've used C, exclusively with my DelPo character however ;)

I use 2 serves actually, i used the roddick animation in 90\40 tour and serve A in sim.
Reason is simple with roddick's serve you can launch bombs to your opponent, with serve A you can execute S&V much better.

Nowadays i only use A because i stopped 90\40 tour

Basically i used to use Serve D (roddick's) and was extremely happy with it until sometime after Wimbledon: where my sixaxis broke, then i bought the dualshock3 and went through 2 and it simply went weird after that as when my perfect timing went out of synch, but i know this isn't me but the controller or the 'springs' of some sort because it isn't exactly rocket science to time serves. I know this is definitely to do with the dual shocks and the original non rumble pads. I switched to a different serve and now it has none of the trouble that simply wasn't my fault. 8)
