My Private messages are going to the outbox..Help

Postby Fifa Tee » Wed, 26 Oct 2011 15:50

I have been trying to message my opponents in tournaments and have been wondering why i have no reply, and my sentbox is empty, but i have the messages in my outbox. This is annoying because since the hosts cannot see i have been messaging my opponents they may get walkovers etc..

Help Hosts, thanks.

your messages will remain in outbox untill and unless the person to who u r sending read it.. once the other person reads it your messages will shift from outbox to sentbox

Maybe your opponents havn't read your mesagges yet. When they read it the message goes to the sentbox

guys are right, and btw don't worry cause we can see the messages sent to your opponent even when they're still in the "outbox" folder
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Ah I see. Just an observation from an American... For me that sounds like the same terminology as the old mail clients like Outlook where the outbox would contain messages that are ready to send but have not been sent yet (due to you scheduling the sync to only happen once every X minutes, or if you don't have an internet connection) So I thought the same thing, that the msg wasn't being sent. I just looked this up after failing to connect for a match also. I'm not sure what term would be better however.
