Strange e-mail

Postby esorcista » Sat, 16 Jul 2011 18:56

I received this mail:

Dear esorcista,

You're receiving this mail because you lost your Wimbledon Qualification Tournament ITST match by walkover/no match. This means your opponent has gone through to the next round without playing. As a penalty you will get no points for the ranking from this tournament.

Remember that when you sign up for a tournament you must get your match played before the end of the deadline! As soon as the draw has been made you should send a Private Message to your opponent to arrange your match.

If you have any questions about how the ITST works make sure you read the rules and FAQ! When this doesn't help you can always post on our forums and our members will gladly help you out.

Greetings,

The ITST Team

I don't understand. I won all three of my matches. What's the problem?

What he's saying is that he played all of the matches he was supposed to play, so he shouldn't have gotten that e-mail. I'm sure it was an error, just PM the host.

when did you get that message?, anyway forget it, that draw was just created to see which players qualified to play the Wimbledon's main draw.
You won your 2 matches and got your "ticket" to play Wimbledon's main draw, where you lost against advocateof04

It was sent because to qualify yourself you don't need to win more than 3 matches. The rest of the tournament must not be played so a "no match" was set for all other matches.

Sorry guys, we didnt really have anything set up for qualification tournaments. To give everyone a fair chance to play Roland Garros and Wimbledon we just set up a normal tournament that wouldnt be completed fully.

When i had to close both quali tournaments i put in no matches to the final. It was the only option to close the tournament. Putting in a no match automatically sents out a mail like that though.

My apologies for this. We are looking to be able to host proper qualification tournaments in the future.

You don't have to excuse Slicer, nothing bad has happened.

I just posted to inform you about that, not because of some points I could have lost.
