Quick question

Postby VillaJ100 » Wed, 27 Jan 2010 20:05

Just wondering from the hosts really, is there at some point a tournament on every court in TS3? I know the majority are on pacific life and sony erricsson open. But this challenger im playing in is on stavvgard tennis hall, and have never seen that used before. Is there even a tourny in chicago public courts/that croation one with weeds coming through? thanks

We use the stadium courts for regular tour matches, and playgrounds for Challengers and Futures. Mostly, I try to find a court that looks like the real court - which is why Pacific Life and Sony Ericsson get used a lot.

But no, not every court will be used. We will never make you play on the "fish" court.

Fish court is sooooo cool 8) Nadal doesn't come close.

I actually love that court. And a few indoor wooden courts are fantastic!
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

I don't have a problem seeing the ball there, and I love the idea of the fish box. To guys who haven't seen it, you're playing on a transparent surface with dozens of large fish underneath.

There's a few others that are very difficult to see the ball (Rio I think is another, the one with all the little round lights).

i have my favourites, but i play pretty much the same whatever the court. most people hate the grass as it changes brightness etc, and i also love suva sport resort. but my least favourite is teraga tennis court. clay is so slow there. me and tomvbs played a SV friendly there once, it was hilarous.

ok, i haven´t been completely honest, it´s not beacuse i can´t see the ball........ but because i´m scared one of those large fishes jump out of water and bite my leg
