Quick question for a newbie

Postby Laffers77 » Fri, 08 Jan 2010 13:38

Right then, I'm running ready to run up the ranking pole but can't quite work out the difference between the sim and non sim versions on TS3.

Which is the one that bans risk shots?

also more generally am I right in thinking that the cheese rule thing essentially means someone consistently playing snidey shots you report them and see what the general consensus is?

Risk shots are allowed everywhere, The only difference in sim is that you must choose your player set up from a list.

Risk Shots are not banned in TS3 Sim

http://www.intertopspintour.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12483 Here you can a list of the players that can be used in the TS3 Sim Tour

Here are the rules for playing on both Sim and Regular:
When serving, you must stand in the default position, or closer to the center - you may not move towards the sidelines (tramlines) when serving.
When returning serves, you must stand behind the baseline, and you may not step on or inside the baseline during the return.

can we please get rid of that wack, outdated TS1 Sim definition that's throwing every newbie off?? (that is, if it's not already gone)

I thought it specifically mentions for Top Spin 1 only. They can get rid of it alltogether, because the Top Spin tour is obsolete now.
