problem creating players on windows 7

hi
i have just moved from xp to windows 7 ultimate.

i cannot create my own players and when playing online i cannot see my opponents if they use their own players.

if me and my opponent choose TS built in players all works.

any idea what is wrong? i have re installed the game 3 times.

after re-installing again, when i go to create a new player i cannot see myself too.

anyone?
